Punjab CM agrees to dissolve assembly on March 19

ISLAMABAD: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has agreed to dissolve the Punjab Assembly on March 19 as proposed by Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Express News reported on Saturday.

The decision was taken during a one-on-one meeting between Shahbaz and the premier. Shahbaz also requested Ashraf to replace governors, inspector generals of police and chief secretaries of Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa provinces.

The prime minister earlier met the four chief ministers to decide on a date to dissolve the assemblies and to discuss names for the post of caretaker chief ministers.

During the meeting, the premier talked to all chief ministers to form consensus over holding national and provincial assembly elections on the same day.

P.S. seriously this is so wrong, all assemblies must get dissolve now, and the interm government should remain of 3 months, so that the ruling party (pmln) can do pre poll rigging and use influence to effect elections...

What do you mean they cannot do? They have been doing and they are determined to follow their creed. Please don't portray them as if they could commit a sin if they did something.. they are committing democratic sins since the time they decided to back Zardari as its Insurance Policy.

For some good reason, these days PMLN only wants to talk about few development projects and wants its supporters to forget rest of their political behavior, misuse of power, money and resources. One brother good coup, other the bad but please forget this "sea-saw" policy.

you can clearly see the type of democracy they are setting an example of, they are syaing, first time this is happening, its not the first time but second time, but anyways see what type of example they are setting
