One thing we have to agree is that pakistan has been left far far behind in propaganda warfare. The Indian ability to penetrate our society, gathering knowledge, planting ideologies and creating anti state elements is far more superior then pakistan can ever have.
As the expert said: India has successfully portrayed itself as a benign state, despite being the greatest perpetrator of terror, that it is mind-boggling .
Despite prior information to pulwama and Mumbai attacks by American and British agencies, indians didn't act. That has served their purpose so well.
Its so sad that we don't have such discussions in pakistan.
No one is capable enough to having such discussions. Not only that but to control the sensivities around it..
You do also have appreciate that in india their political parties don't take the anti stablishment line or make these things an issue. While in pakistan the parties that are in opposition right now would get any chance to malign the state, the army and everything along with it, if they are not in power.
For them the state is not worth of not in power and is to blame for all the ills of the world. India has penetrated the leadership of pmln and ppp, who would do anything at this point to stay in power. Be it at the mercy of Pakistan's interest. While asking isi to stop terrorism in india, they never ask Raw to reciprocate the same for pakistan.
The situation is so bad that a 'nobody' in azad kashmir elections, while loosing threaten the state of contacting india. I don't even know his name, and he has the audacity to even utter those words..
Nowadays every single person, that loose an election blame their defeat on the state.
India has created a lot of internal enemies for us to fight.
They main indian goal is one. Pakistan should not only stop any proxy in kashmir but also for once remove the desire of kashmir from their hearts.
Pakistan policy right now is that they have stopped all forms of proxies and hoping to keep the issue alive diplomatically, until in a decade or 2 when pakistan become economically stable, Pakistan would attack with such a force that no one can stop them from taking kashmir.
That is a good policy. But we do need peace for economic stability, and stability wouldnt come it people sitting in uae and Afghanistan would hire people on phone in pakistan to carry out some random bomb attack.
There are so many people of different hue and colours that anyone can hire them in pakistan for some random activity. Lahore attack showed that how handlers were booked though phone, money transfered online for that car bomb to be planted.
The situation is complicated but pakistani state cannot tolerate anymore collateral damages.

Some of the wounds are self-inflicted as well. De-politicizing the military's top brass could address a lot of our problems.
