Pulwama - From Bluster to a Whimper

The logic in the post you quoted is
“We got into a fight by underestimating an enemy we spent the past ten years dissing and waving our superiority about and got our butt kicked...
However we think it’s an achievement that we got our butt kicked because we only lost our pants in that kicking”

yup they are deluded to new hieghts

Thank you for the deliberation of my posts. The only difference is, i was one of the first few to break these little tidbits about Feb 27 fiasco. Have been getting quite a lot of abuses for no apparent reason. People want me to give them 'online links' where it says DCAS/ACS Ops didnt give authorisation on time. lol.

As for the secrecy of the information. I think I have only imparted the information to make it easier for members to make sense out of the events of Feb 27th and later. None of the information I provided can be classified as top secret since they do involve the exact altitudes, ranges, coordinates and frequencies at which our jets were operating.

I have disclosed the following since Feb 27.

1) Name and rank of the Wg Cmdr Nauman.
2) Missiles used.
3) Mission profiles of the aircraft (load out)
4) Mission objectives (which have been publicly disclosed by KT aswell)
5) A few tidbits pertaining to engagements of 27th and at later dates.

Let me know if you still feel there is something which needs to be kept. You can inbox me.

What i can say is that whatever PAF wanted out in public they would have announced through ISPR, having said that the SU-30 claim was intentionally leaked informally. Whatever information which you have provided may inadvertently help the enemy assess their weaknesses and avoid the mistakes in the next encounter. It is just my two cents.

With Two SU-30s and Two Mirage-2000s on CAP, i always wondered why the much less capable and even vulnerable 'Bison' was sent to intercept the PAF formation, Sir Kaiser Tufail, however reveals the reason which was obtained through PAF monitoring and intercepting IAF Radio communications.

''One Su-30 possibly crashed or landed at Srinagar after being damaged. His wingman exited at supersonic speed to home base. The Mirages declared unserviceable radars and the controllers pulled them back. So everyone chickened out.
MiG scrambles was the only choice then.''
Everyone forgets the tactics that the IAF used against the Americans during Cope India. They used the MIG21 with the SU30. Probably thought they could pull off something similar.

They were spanked pretty strong and hard for their silly mistake. No wonder they are concocting phone delusions of downing an F-16

During the PAF’s recent confrontation with the Indian Air Force, known in Pakistan as Operation Swift Retort, PAF Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan told AIN in mid-April, “The aircraft performed very well against the IAF Mirage 2000s and their Mica missiles, as well as the MiG-21 Bison and its R-73 Archer AAMs.”

Thank you ACM sb and Alan for putting a big smile on my face :)

Sir Kaiser Tufail was kind enough to share further details of the operation.

Leading from the front.

"It would also be instructive to know that the PAF’s air battle commander for the operation was the AOC of Central Air Command, Air Vice Marshal Irfan Ahmad. On 27 February, his operations room was the cockpit of an F-16 which he was flying during the air battle over the LOC. If any doubts still persist about what leading from the front means, the IAF would do well to undertake a reading of this latest chapter of PAF’s combat history."

''As per radio monitoring, the Su-30 had earlier failed to synchronise its data link with the Su-30 that had been targeted, and both aircraft had been unable to provide any mutual support by way of radar data sharing."

"Two pairs of fighters escorted the strike package, while four sections of 4-ship fighters each, patrolled along the LOC. The F-16s were configured with 4xAIM-120C and 2xAIM-9M missiles, while the JF-17s were configured with 2xSD-10 and 2xPL-5 missiles."

As the chatter has it all the way how Sir KT & others are dropping like one after another, on IAF heads. I am really surprised that many cross the border aren't asking real questions or they are helpless though IAF does manage to manipulate them through propaganda while kept them at bay from the facts. The surprise element of IAF's RT with PAF, is like a ticking bomb and there is lot to hear about helplessness in Indian formation on that day.
