PULLING HIJAB OFF EXPERIMENT!

. . .

My 2 paise.

Hinduism says that each and every individual should decide and follow what they believe in as the fruits of karma are not transferable (not even between married couple or between parents & kids)

So it is up to the individual to decide

if one wants to wear hijab, burkha, bikini or go totally nude

If one wants to eat meat or be vegetarian

If one wants to be an alcoholic or a teetotaler.

if one wants to practice celibacy or prostitution

If one wants to have multiple wives or multiple husbands or be hetro-sexual or homo sexual or practice beastality

Others do no have a right to judge people as they will never be sharing the fruits of the karma of the individual being judged.

Muslims do have it better in most of Western countries; and in India too. Some people only highlight the Gugrath riot and similar forgetting the muslim population in India as as much as the whole population of Pakistan. Fewer muslims are attacked in India than in Pakistan

In India situation is deteriorating so I won't agree to your second point but that's my opinion .

Says a man staying in Australia ....

Stay here at grass roots and don't judge on media reports ... You will realize the difference

I agree...but this respect should be from both sides..One should not think that others are inferior race than mine..Then only in true sense, the respect will happen.

What stupid experiment? What I wear is my choice ( except for security reasons) , though kids and teenager should be guided by parents.

you're right, it is a matter of perspective and one's own experiences. For example I know cooperative housing societies in Mumbai where muslims co-exist with others just fine and ofcourse I've heard and read of instances where some places do not want to have them.

There are always two sides to most stories
