There is perception secular people are less dangerous than religious motivated people. We saw day & night violence during threek labaik dharnas. Murder of governor punjab salaman taseer is one of the example how religious people can be dangerous. On other hand PTM don't have suicide attack tactics nor they can fight longer .

I don't know why establishment hasn't ended this PTM drama. They were quick to end Khadim Rizvi.

And Khadim Rizvi wasn't as much of a threat as PTM is

TLP openly called for the murder of soldiers, judges and politicians, and also had no political support from any of the major parties, other than the religious parties (who never do well in elections).

PTM's senior leadership continues to maintain that they're working within the legal system of Pakistan, and are committed to non-violence. They also have the backing of PMLN and PPP, along with JUIF.
