On the contrary - if a system is not run to remove kinks, it never functions as desired. This has been the history of each and every successful country. Why should we be any different? What makes us so special that we deserve a defect-free system without going through the pain of evolving it?

This is the tragedy of all those jumping for joy right now. They do not 'get' it.

Cue the "angels". It is in their interest to prevent such evolution, because it means they will have to submit to its control if it succeeds in the long run. That is the real tragedy, not these fools jumping for joy right now.

Bush swnt troops to Iraq on false promise, troops to us. dead bodies, sucides, corruption, so much came back. but people used votes to kick him out. cuz of bush, thousands of amercians and millions of non americans are dead. because of nawaz, how many are dead?

Sure Nawaz is all bad, smells and sweats, but by taking wrong route to unseat him makes him stronger. One day he will come back and say he was doing good job but was kicked out again. it'd be 90s all again.

Let them fully fail and then vote them out next year.

Someone said on defense.pk that if imran is bad, we will kick him in one year too. Bhai sahab, if you want to kick people and judge them for one year, change the term to one year! by selecting a pm for 5 years, you judge him and kick him after 5 yearsx

USA have extremely mature democratic setup. Family politics do not work over there, new people come to power with passage of time. Those who perform according to expectations of the nations and uphold national interests, get 2 terms at maximum. Also, before running for President, the candidate have to prove his capability at lower levels. In addition, USA have institutions that perform as they should and are not compromised. Furthermore, political parties do not have permanent hold over any state or city in USA.

misinformed much? Bush had lost election. Al gore won it. Florida state was an issue, so this judge came in who was pro bush dad, and he helped him win election. Al gore accepted defeat.

Family politics DOES work there. watch bush documentery to see how spoiled he was when young. then he went on to become president, by obvious cheating, but al gore and public accepted defeat in interest of democracy
