I have seen the video. It is not a Deepfake. It is also not Maryum Nawaz doing the dancing. Just some poor girl who has some similarity to MN in a Mehndi setting mostly likely in the US. The video was incorrectly pushed as being that of Maryum. In no way could this be a crime. The guy in this case just shared what was already out there floating around as a Maryum video, which btw the way it clearly is not. So, net net, the hand of the law has to contort in order to make this case stick. It is not a DeepFake. So this legal action is a poor effort at best, which is also why the fellow was send to Jail remand, and not to police remand. If people are going to get arrested for sharing content they did not create, then God help us. We are setting precedents that make Pakistan's legal system a complete joke.
