PTI wins NA-250

Where to PTI stand in Karachi after this, do they have full control or do MQM still hold seats?

It was started from 12 may..

haha, true.

MQM still have control, but since PTI won, it's going to be a thorn on MQM's side. NA-250 will allow PTI to gain a lot of influence in the city.

I salute the people's bravery for standing up against the thugs, they were not detered despite severe threats.

And those that could not, they must be freed from MQM's tyranny and Tyrant Altaf.

True. Getting into Karachi was considered almost impossible and finally after Zahra Hussain's martyrdom, this has finally put a dint in MQM's thuggery in that city.

Some times such sacrifices are what awaken the masses. If leadership stands up, holds onto the truth and faces the consequences, then awam follows. This is how good leaders become great leaders. No matter how much pressure there is, one must always hold onto the good against evil.

If only free and fair elections could be held in other parts of Karachi, you will see the same results Insha'Allah.

Go to hell Altaf Hussain / MQM.

I don't think so. You will see same results only if MQM boycott elections, you cannot deny the massive support MQM has in Karachi.

BTW How many NA seats does PTI have now? around 40?

A victory is a victory. Going from 1 seat to 27 seats, plus getting the chance to govern KPK, PTI will show Pakistan what it is capable of.

1 to 27 seats gain from 2002-2013 is not a great deal of momentum. Yes they are getting chance to govern in KPK but that is because PML-N allowed them. If they hadn't, they could have easily joined hands with JUI-F, QWP + independents and formed their own. Some people are not to happy with the CM that Imran nominated. Some reports suggests he didn't pay taxes for 2 years and some question the slogan of 'change' since he was previously a member of PPP.

Again if you allow me to repeat. This is very good that PTI has won a seat in Karachi but still long way to go

Those who are rejoicing must not forget, what happened in NA-250 earlier. This evil is strong only because of its ability to feed upon our, short memories.

This result, doesn't mean anything to me. We as a nation must have the capability to conduct rigging free elections. This result means nothing to me as it doesn't do anything to heal the deep anger i have,at the knowledge that, today,as we speak,we are a nation of 190 million, a nuclear power, with a govt that was engineered in the corridors of Washington DC and on the couches, belonging to the house of Al-Saud.

My fellow countrymen, our nation has been hijacked and has been made to submit its liberty and join the set state objectives of the AmeroSaudi imperialism.Don't forget that our nation will be manipulated, in the coming years. We will be used as a launchpad to contain Iran,as an amplifier to bring a pro AmeroSaudi govt in Afghanistan leading to further containment of Iran.

Remember,as a nation where its critical for us to make friends and form bonds, its also critical not to make new enemies at the behest of the international powers which have their own vested interests. We will be used as a bridge to pull American war machine out, then as a cleaning lady to clear up the mess they leave and finally as a chowkidar to protect 'their' interests & one day as a darban to Bhaarat.

We must not forget, that May 11 marks the start of Pakistan's war of liberation. From internal traitors,to closet enemies and hypocritical, manipulative friends.

We must not forget !!!

Happy PTI won.

I never been to Karachi but what is special about NA-250 than other NA-XX in Karachi?

This is true.

If PTI works really hard this time, they may be able to snatch at most 4 more seats from MQM. That would leave MQM with 14 seats in NA.

So I agree, with the deep rooted ethno-fascism of MQM, it will not be easy to unseat them.

We should also remember, who used to win most of Urdu-wa seats BEFORE MQM?

Anyone remembers?

Yes Siree.

Before MQM showed up in Karachi, most of us used to vote for Jamat.

I mean JI would loose from the whole Pakistan, but it would win pretty much all seats in Karachi.

So in essence my community has traded the "religious fascism" with "ethnic fascism". And this will be very very hard to get rid of. Very very hard.

peace

The thing is, PTI wasn't even relevant in 2002, and only became a force in 2008. So it shouldn't be from 2002 to 2023, instead it should be 2008 to 2013.

Yes, I myself question Imran's choice of CM, but one must take into account that Imran needs to show that he's putting experienced people on board, so in that regard, one can understand why IK would choice such a person. On the otherhand, I also do question a lot of what IK's positions.

Just a fyi to people who think I'm a PTI fanboy, I support PTI, but that doesn't mean I support everything they do. I question some of PTI's ideas.

True, and hopefully, MQM will suffer for it's crimes.

what about two provincial seats and by the way how arif alvi won the seat Sir in only 43 polling stations repolling took place and their around 150 polling stations where polling took place on 11 may sir please explain @Leader @mr42O and other

Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf has 28 seats in the National Assembly
Election Commission of Pakistan: Party Position (National Assembly)

Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf has 55 seats in the Provincial Assembly
Election Commission of Pakistan: Party Position (Provincial Assemblies)

So far.

There are further reserved seats for all the parties which total to 70 seats (60 for women and 10 for non-Muslims). I don't know the breakdown of that at the moment.
