PTI will get minimum 30 seats from KP, 80 from Punjab and 15-20 from other provinces - Jehangir Tareen

. .
It's too early to say anything. Till the final results PTI's senior leaders should keep their mouth close.

.
Didn't PTI say it would win the election last time around? I think they will do better but the results will be much tighter.

. .
One should not make these kind of claims in advance.
I remember same claims/predictionns were made before 2013 election that tsnumi will sweep and IK will be next PM. Bare bol khuda ko pasand nhi

Though i agree election 2018 is best chance for PTI cosnidering PML(N) is getting more weaker day by day

.
This would require a greater share of the vote nationally than any party has received in the recent past, and consistently in all provinces. Pakistan's electoral system counts votes in a way that will favour PMLN and PPP over PTI.

And if polls are to be believed, these claims are maybe far too optimistic for PTI.

isnt Imran khan already wazir e azam he and PTI sure are acting like one

Same stuff was said before 2013 general election as well if all can remember ... PTI was leading in polls all the shows that were telecast were showing survey says PTI is gonna win

But on election Day it changed everything ....

15 - 20 seats from others is the big question?
Exactly. May be 1 seat from Baluchistan after Jamali joined PTI. 2 out of 3 from Islamabad. But they won't get more than 2 seats from Sindh i.e in Karachi, and even thats a maybe. So in best case scenario they will be getting 5 seats from provinces other than KPK and Punjab.

And while 30 in KPK and Fata sounds like a valid claim, 80 in Punjab sounds like a little far-fetched. In best case scenario PTI can get 8-10 seats out of 15 North Punjab seats, 25-30 of the 47 South Punjab seats. Taking their Punjab score to 33-40.

In central Punjab though, the base of PMLN, I don't think they can get 40 to 57 seats out of the 79 available seats to get to the number Tareen mentioned. At best they can expect 20-25 seats here, taking their Punjab tally to 53-65.

I see them getting 90-100 seats in total. They will be 37 to 47 seats short, and independents alone can't fill this gap. They will have to make a coalition with other parties. BAP can be a natural ally, they will get 5 seats from Baluchistan for sure. PMLF can get 4-5 seats while PMLQ might get 2 seats. So even combined these parties are not enough to get a majority in the house. PTI will need either MQM or MMA.

This will be a tough decision but failing to do this will allow PMLN, PPP to form a coalition government even if PTI is the single largest party.

They should put sherwani for order then.
If elections are held today, no party will get majority, or even 100 plus seats, PMLN will still remain dominant as biggest party, PTI somewhere around 60 seats, most probably a candidate for prime minister same as designed for senate chairmanship, keeping pmln out and bringing someone acceptable for pti, ppp, aliens.
Rest to be seen in the days to come, if it changes ground realities.

PTI will struggle to make government without coalition

Btw Jhangir tareen is disqualified by supreme court and he should not be running the affairs of party and should not be sitting in board meeting etc but it seem he is still more important decision maker in PTI after Imran khan
