If you don't raise your voice against unjust measures you are slowly training your conscious to become passive. In other words no different to a slave, psychologically. Some happily live as slaves while some stand for their rights and protest.

@Jazzbot Right to information and Right to services bill alone are commendable and great achievements in 6 months. Such power has never been granted to people of Pakistan. Can you go to your local MPA and ask him where he spent the budget? Can you complain about your local SHO if he is not listening to your matter? NO, not unless you have connections.
With RTI and RTS, voices of less fortunate will be heard hopefully.

Obviously for some, materialistic benefits are more important (laptop, yellow cab etc) but above two achievements (if managed properly) will form the basis of new Pakistan by increased transparency and accountability.

Instead of spending money on Jalsa Juloos, he need to develop the province he is ruling. After coming into power i only heard him announcing jalsa juloos all over Pakistan. Against Rigging, against NATO, against drone, against corruption,............,against wall, and now against mehangaaee.

he is not spending tax payers money on it .. he is not the CM ...constitutionally its his not his job and neither can he interfere
btw he is not only doing darna against nato supply , he blocked it , he is not only doing darnas against curroption he has made right to service and depoliticizing the police ...he is courts for rigging but the government is try their best to interfere in election Tribunals .. and he didnt gave call against the wall ..its local MPA and people of that area who was pressurizing against the wall

Yes, all this has been done in mere 6 months time. Now either keep yourself updated or stop bragging about nothing has been done by KP govt just because you are not aware of it.

Sir this is good but not enough & yes i was not aware of many things you posted. The thing is many people including me had very high expectations from PTI. I was thinking he will change the cities like Peshawar completely just like Mustafa Kamal of MQM did.

The first post i posted was not out of hatred or anything but sincerity. I don't see any benefit of holding jalsa/juloos & dharnas. I think any concerns should be addressed in parliament.

But did he achieve anything from dharnas & blocking? Blocking NATO supplies means trying to make Pakistan isolated from international community & for who? Those TTP terrorists who have killed 50000+innocent Pakistanis & injured 100000+, not to forget 5000+ Pakistan Army's martyred troops & 8000+injured. FYI Just few days ago TTP m0f0 rats destroyed one school in Bannu & killed one 14 year old in Hangu.

Everyone including me had very high hopes, and to be honest I still believe KP govt has been a bit slow on several issues and lot more could be done. But the good thing is, they are at least on the right track. You cannot compare KP or Peshawar to Karachi. Karachi is one of the most developed city of Pakistan already but Peshawar on the other hand is way backwards, corruption hit, terrorism effected etc. It will take some time. Just today, KP Ehtesab Commission at hand as assembly passes bill | Pakistan Defence and First citizen gets access to public record under RTI in KP | Pakistan Defence you can see the things progressing. Frankly I am fine if KP govt is slow as far as they are doing good things in right direction. And yes, most of the people here are not fully aware of the developments being done in KP, and our biased media is more responsible for this. Most of the things don't get broadcasted on media channels, hence people can only get to know via social media or internet.


About Jalsa / Jaloos, I believe PTI is just doing politics in this regard just like any other political party of Pakistan. You can see, wherever PTI is weak, they are doing protests, Jalsas etc to engage people and get some standing ground in those areas. Recent massive Jalsa in Umerkot, Sindh is just an example. After all, they need to become a national party instead of being limited to only one province, and for that they need to do something outside parliament. This is just the politics we Pakistanis are used to, nothing else.

ecomony was much better in Musharraf time .. that is why so much money was spent on construction and infrastucture ... we dont have that luxuary now .. moreover peshwar can never be like karachi or even lahore .. like Utaah cant be like NY, gujranawala can never be like lahore .. Big cities get more funds, and have better law and order as there is no fedualism and tribiral customs .. u can see lahore and then u can see whole punjab .. but u have to judge the government according to the envirnment . Punjab was and will always be better then rest of Pakistan .. no matter who rule it . Punjab is ruled by PPP, PLM Q AND PML N .. during all that tenures progress was made ..

So if u have to judge PTi .. DO it on the basis of governace, law making, corruption .. untill now im very satisfied that they have decreased the level of corruption to an exactable level, new laws they introduce is fantastic , governace is not good as the law and order of the provience is very bad... but Fedral government is equally responsible for it

just answer me one thing, would u allow india to start bombing place in punjab??? NO right? Im pro operation and anti PTI natrative . But trust me even i knw that we cant win this fight becuase we lack resources. They were not our enimies, we should try to aviod this conflict .. even if we eliminated every single TTP guy, what will be achieve , more loss of life a very weak economy ... avoiding this war is the only solution ..that is why all parties think war is not the solution .. i hate those TTP bastard and i want each of them killed along with their families .. but we have to be realistic and see what can we achieve and how much we lose .

Ignore PTI for a moment and let me ask you this, if there are unfortunate incidents with you I.e. fraud, theft etc etc
Would you bear it quietly ? Or fight for what's right and try to make your voice heard so it won't happen again? It may be against all the odds to be successful but would you not do anything?

I think Peshawar have potential to do better than Karachi. You cannot compare Utah State with Peshawar. If you are comparing Karachi with New york City then Islamabad is Washington, Lahore - Los-Angeles, Faisalabad - San Francisco & Peshawar - Miami. Peshawar is one of the top biggest cities of Pakistan.

You see the problem of Karachi is that PPP is holding most power of the province of Sind & so it gives Karachi much lesser budget of what it actually deserves. MQM is furious that PPP grant massive budgets to those cities that are ruled by PPP govt(comparing their population & revenue collection size those budgets are massive for those cities/towns) but Karachi & Hyderabad that are largest & second largest cities of Sind receives peanuts of what these cities deserve just because they are ruled by MQM. Can you compare the budget of Karachi & Larkana...as i explained in another thread that the thing that bother me is not that Larkana get more money but the thing that bothers me is that even after more than enough fund Larkana remains same village looking town(even when it's population is peanuts compare to Karachi).

What is India? Why you comparing a third world country with a first world Super Power? US/NATO & Pakistan are allies. Pakistan co-operating with US is the best thing happening to destroy TTP terrorists & keep them psychologically/mentally defeated. Rite now their first demand is to stop drones but think if there were no drones then their first demand would be to hand them over the country & they would be going crazy like they were in 2009.
