Punjab already has wealth and resources to sustain itself the other provinces do not.

Lahore is like 10% of punjab. Sure after taxes are devolved to provinces then punjab can sustain it self. But right now punjab generate 70% of taxes while get back 45% in NFC award.

The point is that Punjab has a far higher capacity for power, food, exports, infrastructure, than the other provinces so its far more necessary to emphasise development on the other provinces in order to bring them up to the same level.

The fact that it takes 5 times more spending in order to achieve good development/governance in KPK is proof that before 2013 it has been severely neglected.

Pti called metro, a jangla bus for 4 years, criticised it day and night, pti & ik correctly criticised huge loans of pmln govt. I support that, but at the same time they are building BRT at a high interest rate loan, plus took 3 trillions debt...
Now what one can call this??

Other than the received amount, the documents state that the incumbent provincial government is waiting on around Rs2 trillion for 10 other projects from organisations, including World Bank and Asian Development Bank.

It is said that PTI borrowed five times more money than the previous government — of Awami National Party in KPK — did. The ANP government borrowed approximately Rs21 billion during their tenure in 2007-2013.

They (PTI) have borrowed 5 times more than ANP govt, now ANP had borrowed 21 billion, five times of which becomes 105 billion, right...
plus according to the documents the kpk govrt has applied for nearly 2 trillion loans from World Bank and Asian Development bank, and waiting for the loan to be received, this is clearly stated in the news, just read it again...

PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has plunged the province into loans of around Rs3 trillion, which would take nearly 40 years to return.

KPK Deputy Information Secretary Shaukat Yousufzai has said the need arose as the Centre would not disburse funds to the province on time. He added they would pay back the loans by generating money from projects for which the funds have been borrowed.
