PTI, JI refuse to attend Iftar dinner hosted by Zardari

There has been no contact between Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif and Zardari about the dinner
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Awami National Party (ANP), Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q) on Friday will attend former president Asif Ali Zardari’s Iftar dinner while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Inasf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has refused to participate.

According to Senator Farhatullah Babar, there has been no contact between Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif and Zardari about the dinner.

Zardari had invited political leaders of the country for a dinner after he held a much talked about press conference in which he criticised the Pakistan Army and the government.

Mian Iftikhar, Afrasiab Khattak and Ghulam Ahmed Bilour will represent ANP at Zardari’s dinner party while Chaudhry Shujaat will lead the PML-Q delegation.

According to the sources, MQM faction will also attend the dinner hosted by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman which will be lead by Dr Farooq Sattar.

Formal invites were also sent to JI, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) and PTI however, JI and PTI have refused to attend the event.
Earlier, Zardari called on MQM chief Altaf Hussain and both the leaders stressed the need to get united for national interests.

MQM is expected, ANP is pile of filth with no significance, well not any worse then Zardari though. I have learned Bail of Mutahda Qoumi Moment's Altaf Hussain is ending by 12th of next month.. its funny to see how he would play his last shot before getting arrested.
