I thought about this before, but resigning from assemblies will put too much pressure on new imported government may seem a better idea, even if PTI stays in the parliament as an opposition, imported government will bulldoze NAB and EVM.

If there is any benefit in it, opposition parties would have resigned a long time ago. Please go through their notes and see why resignations from parliament is bad option.

When there is a mass wave of protests, Army doesn't like to get involved, if it starts killing its own people, rest assured its going to be very messy. I'm sure army will have no choice but listen to the public.

Perhaps you’re right about present setup. Bajwa is retiring in Nov but important question is, whether the new COAS will support IK or not? If not, what will happen then?
