PTI govt suspends operations at Utility Stores Corporation

Is it more than PIA, PSM, DISCOs, PR?
Its only logical that gathering facts on and scrutinizing larger corporations like PIA will take longer because of their size and the complexity of their business. You are assuming the government has not started scrutinizing the larger corporations. But it is more likely that actions and changes will take a little longer to announce and implement. So hold your horses.

See what i am trying to say is Govt. Should have priorities things. Action against big corporations will help in gaining confidence of poor people and also they will become example for smaller companies not to do corruptions.

Now a days we are hearing all the corruption rhetic against those companies which directly impact poor peoole.

My main concern is priorities.

here we are talking about a billion. Which directly deals with poor people.

Why not start from PIA, PSM and other entities which re eating 100s Billions yearly.

I dont have any issue with rooting corruption as it should be done across the board. But Good governance is all about setting their priorities to right track.

Now a days we have loadshedding for more than 8 hours a day in a city where bill recovery is more than 90%. I don't know where is govt. there isnt even any single state from power ministry whats the issue, when they will resolve it we all hearing about circular debt, from 1100B , 800 B itself is owned by govt. enterprises and departments.

if they kept this pace. they will screw them self very soon.

I don't understand how you sum up everything and blaming the new govt which hasn't completed its 10 days intotal.

PSM is being open up again and Railways is being transform by Sheikh Rasheed. In 10 days you can not even revamp a small firm and you are talking about entire country.

Second thing, Loadshedding is because of more than Rs 1.1 trillion circular debt and it can not be eliminated in 10 days not even in 100 days but it can be minimized. I don't understand why people like you don't ask those whom are responsible for this shit, the ex government. That 800 billion debt money, most of it has been deprived of due to corruption. There's no money left to run government yet you are talking about circular debt??? Are you high?

Thirdly, No one has said to privatize Utility stores but it seriously need to be revamped.

What I am saying is that the larger corporations ARE a priority because that is where the biggest leaks have to be plugged. And the new government has already started looking into them. You just haven't seen any major announcements about them yet because it takes longer to review the full scale of their operations.

Announcements will come, and they will come in the not so distant future. We just have to be a little patient. It really has only been 10 days since the cabinet took office.

Now, in a couple of months if there are no announcements, or if the changes announced are cosmetic, or not far-reaching enough, then we have every right to criticize the government.
