PTI chief spent Rs377m on public meetings: Information Minister

Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid says that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf Imran Khan has spent Rs377 million on public meetings which could be used for providing basic facilities to the IDPs of North Waziristan.

In a statement in Islamabad on Friday, he said that the Punjab Government had to spent millions of rupees on the security arrangements of these meetings.

The Minister said two hospitals and over a dozen of schools could be established with the amount that Imran Khan had spent on public rallies.

He said contrary to this the expenses of Prime Minister House have been curtailed by 40 percent in the national interest.

PM house expenditure is Rs. 1 million per day according to official statement. This is as if to say this is not a lot of money.

Pakistan is ranked 6th in the hunger index. A country that produces its own food and can even export is the sixth hungriest nation in the world. Amazing statistic but this not the problem of Sharif family and its sycophants on this forum or anywhere else. Pakistanis can travel to 31 countries. Somalis can travel to 32. But this is again not a problem for Sharifs or Bhuttos for they travel to the countries where they have properties and businesses.
