While we are on the topic, who are the group of four or five generals that both Najam Sethi and Haroon Rasheed have pointed towards as being the architects of this change of thinking.
The said group of four to five generals always exist up Sethi's butt and to the left. They existed in 2014 dharna, they do now.He just takes them out and publishes his exclusive.

His latest statement is that the decision about next long march would be done in the light of the SC ruling, on PTI petition, which they have submitted today.
Thanks .

Yes I was just reading on dawn website

Imran says will announce next march as soon as SC decides on petition

PTI Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan said on Wednesday that the party had filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking its protection, and he would announce the date for the next march to Islamabad as soon as the apex court rules on the matter.

Addressing a social media conference in Peshawar, Imran said he wanted the Supreme Court to grant protection to the PTI's march and answer whether Pakistanis have the fundamental right to hold a peaceful protest.

He highlighted the way the federal and Punjab governments had responded to the PTI's recent Azadi March on May 25 by "firing [tear gas] shells and wrongfully using Punjab police" and said this was why the party wanted a ruling from the SC.

"As soon as their decision comes, I will announce [the date for the next march] and we will leave [for the capital]."

The PTI chairman said the party's planning would be better this time. "After [the previous] Supreme Court ruling, we believed the path would be clear and no one would be picked up. We will not repeat the mistakes."

PTI's Azadi March on May 25 was preceded by the authorities invoking Section 144 — a measure used to curb gatherings. Shipping containers were put in place on major thoroughfares to block their path.

Undeterred by the moves, the marchers tried to force through the containers to make their way to Islamabad amid intense shelling and baton-charge by the police. PTI supporters were also arrested in cities across Punjab.

The PTI's march towards Islamabad's D-Chowk and the shelling of teargas by police took place despite the Supreme Court directives for the former to hold its protest in Islamabad's H-9 area and orders for the government to not make arrests or use force in connection with the march.

However, Imran had chosen to turn back from the 9th Avenue after giving a six-day deadline to the government for announcing elections and dissolving assemblies and warned that he would return to the capital with the "entire nation" otherwise.

In his speech today, Imran exhorted party workers to continue their struggle against "criminals", telling them that what they were doing was "jihad, and not politics".

"The violent, barbaric way in which shelling was done ... law enforcement agencies do not do this violence on their own people. Only criminals do this."

Pakistan's biggest problem was injustice, he said, adding that citizens would have to get their right through jihad.

"This is the most important time for the nation. If we defeat them (the incumbent government), Pakistan will progress. And if we do not, then your children will have to fight this war."

The PML-N-led coalition government was "threatening people and scaring them", he alleged and claimed that according to evidence collected by the PTI, the shells fired at party supporters were "the ones used only against terrorists".

The PTI chief called on his supporters to defeat the fear, saying, "I do not fear anything because I believe we are fighting this war for our [future] generations."

He claimed that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah were "criminals" and "the most cowardly people".

PTI's petition
Earlier in the day, Barrister Ali Zafar filed a petition in the apex court on behalf of PTI secretary general Asad Umar.

The petition, a copy of which is available with Dawn.com, posed a number of questions to the SC, asking whether freedom of movement and right to peaceful protest and procession is a fundamental right enshrined in the Constitution.

It also asks whether rights granted under Articles 4 (right to be dealt with in accordance with law), 5 (loyalty to state and obedience to the Constitution and the law), 8 (laws inconsistent with or in derogation of fundamental rights to be void), 9 (security of person), 10 (safeguards as to arrest and detention), 14 (inviolability of dignity of man), 15 (freedom of movement), 16 (freedom of assembly), 17 (freedom of association), 19 (freedom of speech) and 25 (equality of citizens) can be "unreasonably curtailed by executive authorities through use of disproportionate and unlawful force on peaceful citizenry".

Another question it asks is whether the state and governmental agencies can unlawfully deprive citizens of their liberty, guaranteed under Articles 9 and 10, by arresting individuals who are participating in, or intend to participate in a peaceful protest for attaining their democratic rights.

It further asks whether the PTI has the "fundamental right to organise, associate and conduct a nationwide political rally, in accordance with Article 17 of the Constitution, without unlawful interference by the federal and provincial government authorities".

The petition requests the court to direct the federal and Punjab governments to "not torture or arrest or use any force or coercive measures or intimidating tactics (including, without limitation, conducting of illegal raids in their houses)" against people who want to attend a rally organised by PTI.

It also requested the court to stop the authorities from putting obstacles or blocking access to places or restricting people's movement.

I don't see the need for the urgency PTI leaders & its supporters have in pushing for an early resolution of the current crisis. Neither do I understand the feeling that somehow long march was & remains the only chance to achieve the fall of this government. 1/N

There is a huge ground swell of support for PTI right now based on the conspiracy narrative but the feeling that it is only temporary and will be going away is totally rubbish. You have three separate streams of externalities/pressures that will lead to the demise of this gov 2/N

1. The Conspiracy narrative of putting in place a coterie of corrupt thugs who have only their interests at heart is not going away. It will only strengthen with time as these incompetent buffoons make a mess of things and remain busy in doing away accountability measures 3/n

2. The second stream is the energy/commodity super cycle that is coming our way at full steam. Fuel prices may end up at PKR 230 and Electricity above PKR 40 per unit by June end. Other Commodity prices following a similar pattern. 4/N

This will have a 100 times more impact than any conspiracy narrative. People's disposable income specially the vocal middle class's is going to be devastated and no amount of Govt ads in Dawn & Jang is going to alleviate that. 5/N

You can buy a thousand Fahd Bosnias or Sethis but when people will have 30-40 % of their income wiped off they wont be happy about it and they will associate the incumbent turds with their sorry plight. 6/N

3. The 3rd factor that will destroy the coalition is the weak footing of the coalition ( with a majority of 1 seat ). PPP is not going to take the blame for PMLN's incompetence or the coming inflation bomb. 7/N

So in such a scenario where an unprecedent disaster is coming our way why do you want to do something that not only endangers the road to economic stability that is the foremost priority & also risk coming into power in the midst of a full blown economic crisis 8/N

So in such a scenario where an unprecedent disaster is coming our way why do you want to do something that not only endangers the road to economic stability that is the foremost priority & also risk coming into power in the midst of a full blown economic crisis 8/N

Now what needs to be done instead of brainless long marches and NOW or NEVER statements is that PTI to keep the energy alive & movement going by opting for weekend jalsas in all major divisions one by one. 10/N

Imran needs to go and sit in every division for 3-4 days organizing the party structure in that region and assessing ticket holders. That is what PTI needs. Party reorganization and ground work not aimless long marches that have never derailed a govt. 11/N

PTI is staring at a near certain majority after 7-8 months of this Gov and is willing to sacrifice that on a gamble for immediate elections with this NOW or NEVER spiel. Please come out of the spin. Focus on the Long term both for country and party's sake. 12/N

Thoughts on this?

Thread here:
No matter how much I dislike you for your trolling in another thread, I still agree with your point of view. But the problem is IK fears that if this PDM Govt stays long enough to select the next kingmaker of this country in upcoming November, winning elections after that would be extremely difficult if not impossible for him. But he can surely fire that army Chief if he somehow manages to win elections against all odds (like PDM mixture, remote controlled courts, media, Bureaucracy, ECP, local and global establishments all combined hostile against a single relatively inexperienced political party). But if he somehow miraculously succeeds in seizing power before the appointment of the new Army Chief, then he should realize that Bajwa wasn't operating alone. He had his accomplices in the establishment supporting him and they would go dormant in that case and would act like a sleeper cell to rescue the PDM thugs again just in time.

Another dilemma is that IK can't wait out 5 another years in hope to fight another day. He is already 70 years old and doesn't have the luxury of extended F&F projecting and carrying forward his agenda like Maryam, Hamza and Salman in Noon League, Bilawal, Asifa and Bakhtawar in PPP, Chota Maulana Fazl ur Rehman (don't know his name). But Imran Khan is a one man army. Currently Pakistan has no other leader of his stature and PTI could effectively be orphaned/disbanded without him. The young leadership of PTI needed some more time in power and limelight of media to have any sort of long lasting impact on the people and the party. IK's immediate successors like Shah Mahmood Qureshi can't lead this diversified party at all.

The main issue with Pakistan is if the establishment supports a powerful independent Pakistan then their master countries are offended and they make economic, military supply, assets threats.

What can Pakistan answer be? What is the solution? Noone answers this question.

IK made commitment to go Malaysia but over one phone call he had to change his mind, he made policy of being neutral and anti war but Pakistan master countries wanted Pakistan to give anti Russia statements, this time he didn't listen and was removed.

You cannot be independent and powerful when your nation and people are corrupt, when they are sell outs, when you rely on foreign nation loans to run your country, when coming to power depends on wealth.
You answered your own questions in the last paragraph.

As the PDM cocktail PM said: "Beggars can't be choosers". So their main objectives are to keep Pakistani nation hostage to the US life support systems all the time while filling up their own coffers abroad. Keep monopoly of power within the corrupt leadership of the PDM and let the compromised and/or corrupt military establishment guard them as per the Master's orders. The poorer the people the better, so all Pakistanis just keep struggling to get their piece of bread, 24 hours of electricity so that they won't have time to really think about what's happening to them. And suppress them with such brutality that no one ever dares to protest or strives to gain his/her rights. That's how a colony of slaves is managed by the slave masters.

And yes the path to dignity and freedom would be difficult and would be made more harsh by Mir Sadiq and Mir Jafars of the society. But Pakistan is still too big to fail. If a big power tries to corner us and starve us from their printed money. Well then Pakistan too is free to export the most sought after product in the market, the nuclear and missile tech to 10 other countries. And we would be back on track on the economic front then. There would be no money launderers left, no loans to pay, we can easily be pretty much self sufficient country. Other materials we require could easily be sourced from Russia or China. The east is rising fast and we can have a healthy trade relations with the eastern block of countries.

Only the corrupt politicians ,Generals and corrupt elites would be at the disadvantage, because their properties/assets abroad could seized the relevant Govts and there would be no western retirement destinations in the lost of their job perks.

Arshad sharif is on bajwa‘s hit list too for his latest program.

Uski bori tayar ki ja ri he.
Nothing new. He has been in the hit list from quite a few weeks ago. Same goes for all other mentioned journalists. Sabir Shakir is in hot pursuit of Bajwa too. Listen to his recent YouTube Vlogs. He mentions Bajwa's evil plans without even naming him and keeps asking public to pray for Pakistan because next 24 weeks are very dangerous to Pakistan. That's actually Bajwa's retirement timeline.

Sabir Shakir and countless other well known names of journalism in Pakistan were approached by the establishment to shape a "specific" narrative. Even and old aged journalist named Haroon Rasheed acknowledged for being threatened by someone.

Those naive goons playing dirty games of 50s/60s/90s in the era of AI and social media 😜😁😆. They can't even manage less than a dozen journalists now! Last time they did in 90's, there was only one TV channel and some printed newspapers. Now each and every popular journalist or activist is a mobile media house her/him self.

The only way to stop that is to continuously suppress whole of Pakistan just like Kashmir. Shut down all telecom services. Which isn't physically, financially and mentally a viable option for them. Their once feared black tinted Toyota Hilux are now publicly made a topic of memes and jokes. No one could have imagined these hilarious conditions till 2021.
