That is true but blood is thicker than water much a we might like to gloss over it. While IK is Pakistani but the events of last 48 hours showed us quite distinct ethnic lines. Most of his shock troops came from KPK. That is his stronghold which is why SS is verboten from fcuking around Peshawar.

Did you read my post? This would be akin to declaring war on PPP. It's like trying to gouge London from England, Rome from Italy. simply not going to happen. Not this century. Note what I said.

Karachi was and is capital of Sindh going back to British Raj. Any attempt to change boundary of Sindh would be giving Sindhudesh movement a steriod injection like the imposition of Urdu on Banglas was in 1950s which festered until it exploded in 1971.

Sindh is Sindhi majority. Any such move would be seen as gerrymandering and cause strife in Sindh. Keep in mind Sindhi's are majority. There is ocean of them around the urban areas.

It would also be constitutionally almost impossible because Sindh would not give assent to such a move.

Yup this is the same reason why they won't put Quetta and Peshawar in the same province. It will create a huge uproar among Baloch.

Its very surprising to see Pakistanis not know the ramifications of the people in their own land.

It's not going to happen [even if it becomes Pashtun majority] until and as when people begin to vote or look beyond their ethnic groups. The blunt truth is all groups talk of Muslim but when it comes to it they hide behind ethnic based parties to gain benefits. This applies to Sindhi, applies to educated Mohajirs [remind me what did MQM stand for] and ANP.

Not really. It is about percieved injustice to 'their' group. Their being the operative word. Meaning how order society and events around them. I am told Mohajirs are the most urban, educated group but they all rallied around a unashemdly ethnic party. At least PPP pretended to be trans-provincial.

And if people say their group was subject of injustice well that is exactly the other side feels. You can't place premium on your hurt but ignore the other sides gripes/concerns.

Dynamics is different. Those areas will always put ethnicity first. There's a reason why you don't see massive protests for Imran Khan in interior Sindh and Gwadar lmao.

Very right , the logo of these areas , primarily Balochistan is 1st Baloch ( by cast ) and then Pakistani …. Though they love IK as a personality but the Sardar’s political views have more values then what is better for them .
