I just had a crazy realisation. This is all about the almighty $$$.

It's all a scam involving offshore accounts. Everyone is involved in the Sharif network and Zardari network. This is how they all got rich.

Is it guaranteed the assemblies will be dissolved soon?
Will new elections be held using EVM?
Will overseas Pakistanis be able to vote?

There is nothing on the table yet regarding cancellation of Passports. Any such move would see a lot of push back.

They are relying on a rather biased Technical report to propose that the EVM is not fit for purpose. One of the excuse is that the EVM biometric will not work for overseas Pakistani's - NONSENSE, NICOP has biometric ID captured at embassies and consulates abroad.

This government is Anti-Pakistan, they are desperate to try and cling onto power somehow because they know - this is their last chance.

Its all online now……..embassies only captured at those missions where they had nadra people/machines (for example, toronto, and maybe a couple of uk missions), then they shut those nadra facilities down and forced everyone online)

So if ppl overseas still don’t have new smart nicop then they can’t vote anyway even if allowed

Punjab and Sindh are after all the stronghold of PDM actors.

It's not anymore, that's why it's need strong party structure to engage, mobilize, give direction to people. If PTI can't capitalize the power of silent majority who haven't been interested in politics till now then forget 2/3 majority, it may even fail to retain current strength.

What ? In Sindh, PTI has massive support in Karachi only and Karachities were not asked to join the march infact they did it in Karachi under Ali Zaidi leadership as planned. Multan julsa was massive success and people from South Punjab did came though PMLN managed to block influx from G.T. road thru massive blockades.

Dear Sindh is not limited to Karachi only, Bhutto needs to die in interior Sindh to bring any change in Sindh. People were on streets at night of ousting IK on their own, leadership came later when they saw people on roads on their TVs. Same happened last night in Karachi, Lahore. In Baluchistan people were protesting against Imported Govt. but nobody knew about it until they moved their protest in front of Baluchistan Parliament even in that case there was a ticker on ARY only. Acknowledgement of short coming and screwed ups is first step toward fixing. Although I hate MQM, but PTI may take tuition from them on how to have proper organization structure - If IK is interested in foreign example then PTI may ask CCP for guidance in building party structure from grass root to top level.

Let's now just hope things do not take any other turn. The tabling of the desired amendements today should be an indication for the smart ones. If you recall, the assembly session was called yesterday evening, AFTER the march had set off.

The IMF decisions just solidified the direction things were headed in.

As for the rest, I agree. PTI should take care of it's workers, and I have read on their page that a fund is being setup for this killed or injured. Their lawyer teams are also working.

Moreover, I was very happy to see this, the women and otherwise civil society participants who participated in the march, are being sent messages of thanks personally by the leadership. I know Farrukh Habib sent a message to someone I know on a social media platform for thanks. So that is good to see.

Next few days will be interesting.

Sethi all other pawns of establishment wants PMLN to sign the agreement with IMF and raise the prices, impose taxes and all, after that MQM, BAP etc would leave the government and fresh elections would be held before September this year but PDM is resisting and saying that if early elections has to be called then they will not sign the agreement and will not raise the prices. Let interim government do all these things and fresh government may talk to IMF etc.

I expected PTI government to make major reforms in government institutes, Electrol reforms, getting rid of corrupt police officers, government officials, get rid of corruption in health, welfare etc but nothing much was done. We would love to have witnessed atleast one Model police station in Islamabad where justice is done, no bribery etc but everything was still the same after 3.5 years. Atleast one lawyers model office where corruption free, hard working, honest lawyers could be hired. Reforms in tax agency or a new tax agency was a must.
I understand judiciary could not be changed but in other areas the possibility was there.
