Now when PTI would sort the bureaucracy out for these shenanigans and prosecute it, sab nay kaam karna band kar dena hai and Malick will do a show that the affairs of the government have come to a standstill.

The Punjab info minister says that there is a PSL match that's why we have imposed it.

PSL matches have been going on in Lahore since a month, why wasn't 144 imposed on any of those occassions? Moreover the PTI rally is far away from the venue and routes.

And then he says aaj aik marathon hai. Jeez these people need to at least make a better bahana.

If PTI has any balls it should go out at any cost, including Imran Khan.

IK bhi ab ghar baitha hi chahta hai bas tehreek chal jaye. He needs to get out and lead from the front along with the leadership.

The joke just keeps on writing itself.

The govt has not learned anything in 11 months. If you actually let PTI do a rally and go to Data Darbar aram say, they'll just go there, make a few speeches, and then disperse aur kaam khatam. Instead you create confrontation and give PTI material to use.

I am 100% convinced this is by design so that a clash happens, riots happen, and then they get the perfect excuse to delay elections and put IK in jail.

It will take a certain level of acumen to avoid creating that excuse, obviously.

It's a catch 22 for PTI.

Do they again cancel it and back down? This would marginally affect the election campaign (jis nay PTI ko vote dena hai unhon day ab dena hi hai, an election campaign isn't going to do much).

But backing down would give the opposition and partisan media to create a narrative that PTI got scared bla bla bla. Their own supporters might also not be good with this, and would want to get out.

But I believe backing down would be the sensible choice. In the current scenario, PTI just needs two weeks of election campaign near to the elections to get some steam, baki yeh cheezain are secondary. No need to give the government any excuse.

I think this time Imran Khan has decided to let them kill himself or his supporters. If they don’t kill then there will be a successful rally. If they kill then it would spark an uprising.

Double standards by Pakistanis as usual and then they go around pointing fingers. People called TLP as terrorist for holding sticks and fighting with the police but PTI is doing the same. Why not declare yourself as rebels?

I still condemn the attacks on the protestors, they have the right to protest. Tlp also had the right to protest but PTI government used extreme force and killed many people but got away with it, people were ran over, shot, jailed and killed.

Shelling, live fire, water guns, acid attack, false accusations, bans, fake cases, jails.
State terrorism was committed by the PTI government and now same is done against them.

Great, please let me know how many police officers the PTI have killed in total?
