PSL ‘is one of the Top Leagues in World’: Foreign Players laud Pakistan

satta bazaar only, no fan passion for PSL or BBL or any other 20 league in India.

IPL just towers above the rest, biggest money, best current players, every country's cricket board are desperate for their guys to play the upcoming IPL to prep for the t20 world cup later this year.

The format overall is rubbish, I'll watch but without much interest most times, test cricket is where it's at, ODIs can be seriously fun too.
Yet these rich & classy cricketers, there board, there Government, and janta dirty there Blue pants when ever they think to play with pak.... Those donkeys never want to face pak because afraid of losing...
Imran Khan once called them “phateechar (third-rated and disreputable) and “railu kattay” (loafers, good for nothing) from Africa. This shows the class of participation of foreign players in PSL.
Ans yet we are first team that played most of sami finals and finals.. Epic talent

bhai, personally I'd like nothing more than a winter test series.. India - Pak, Dec - Feb.. 5 tests.

filhaal political bs hai, any India series does generate a LOT of cash for the other side too..

current India will destroy Pak in cricket easy, it's not the the 90s anymore.

I don't think it's political bs.

I think we stopped playing with them post 9/11.

I'm the absence of any action from their side, it would look really foolish for our side to resume tours without anything to show for it.

Ditto for Pakistani players in the IPL.

Cheers, Doc

PSL is a league of retired cricketers and most of the times its boring as hell and thn the venue problem only two stadiums are used and because of no crowed PSL isn't earning alot of money that it should be. Till we expand matches and teams to home cities, allow crowds, earn more money thn all other leagues (except IPL ofcours), it will not become famous within current playing stars.

Apart from the former colonies of the British empire, who gives a damn about cricket???????.............

Can't we try to make football popular in Pakistan? Football is the ONLY sport that really matters on the world stage. That sport that matters to nearly 6 billion people!

cricket sucks big time!!!!!!!

We need to get away from this fondness of cricket. It is a worthless and weak sport. Only the former colonies of the British empire are interested in it. At least 5 billion people on this planet are completely uninterested and indifferent to cricket. Pakistan must join them and promote the ONLY sport in the world that matters which is football.

England Superstar Reveals Why He Rates PSL Above Other Leagues

By Imad Ali Jan | Published Feb 11, 2022 | 1:04 pm

England’s right-handed batter, Liam Livingstone has said that playing in Pakistan Super League (PSL) is indeed special for him as he had started his franchise-based cricket career with PSL.

Livingstone was part of Peshawar Zalmi in yesterday’s match against Multan Sultans but failed to perform well as he scored 24 runs from 16 balls.

The unbeaten Multan Sultans, under the leadership of Muhammad Rizwan, defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 42 runs in the first clash of Lahore leg as Zalmi failed to chase a total of 182 runs.

Sharing his experience in the mid-innings break in his first match of the seventh edition, Liam Livingstone said “The Pakistan Super League was my first ever franchise tournament, it’s indeed a special one for me. It’s nice to come back to Pakistan.”

Liam Livingstone, who displayed unsatisfactory performance for the national side in West Indies, would be keen to get some runs under his belt and to end the Lahore leg on a high for his franchise.

With Yesterday’s defeat against Multan Sultan, Peshawar Zalmi are now on the fifth spot on the PSL point table just ahead of Karachi Kings. They have four matches to play as per their schedule in the Lahore leg.

The Zalmi will face the Babar Azam-led Karachi Kings in their seventh match of the season on February 13 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

Yaar players go to IPL for the obvious. $$. To enhance one’s career and educate yourself then forget it. Ben It’s an overhyped circus and not cricket anymore.

To promote one league it's not necessary to denigrate another .
Both can be good leagues. Even 5 leagues can be good.
Football has 3 good European leagues- spanish, German and English. Even italians are pretty ok.

A league that has had to disband a team because of match fixing. A league clearly lavished with excessive financial gain for players. A league that attempts to steam roll other cricket around the world and eats into other countries national commitments and take players away from international duty is not their to enhance cricket. Its a hindrance to the game. You analogy and comparison to the football is poor. All the leagues are played at the same time and dont buy players from each other for specific competitions. They have the same players exclusively signed up on long term contracts and dont "PIMP" out players for 4 weeks for example.
