Why are you avoiding the comparison? USA is as big as China, India as many people as China. They are good example to tell you when they have idiot government who think zero covid is bad at expense of economy development and personal freedom.
China never say zero covid will be forever. We do know the inconvenience to life by zero covid policy but citizen shall understand few death in China by covid is not for granted or nonsense that it just a flu. End of the day, the citizen just dont regret the decision they made to end zero covid policy when higher death rate occurs. Dont ever come back and blame CPC for failing to enforce zero covid policy and prevent more covid death. That is all I want to say.
Its not difficult to understand when you compare China covid death vs India and USA... and see who has the lowest.

Germany reported their 7-day avg peak deaths on 8 Nov at around 171 deaths in the past half year. Even assuming this 7-day avg peak deaths daily for the past half year would result in 171*183 days = ~31K deaths, which would still be significantly lower than your claim of 100K deaths for the past half year.
What's your comment on your comment that Taiwan is reporting 500 deaths daily?

On a serious note, I do agree that China will see a spike in deaths among the elderly like HK/Taiwan has seen if it opens up. Probably ~1mil deaths within 6months before settling down at a lower rate.
The death rate is only close to the flu for countries which already experienced multiple waves of infections + very high up-to-date vaccination rate among the elderly.

It is NOT off topic. This thread is about Chinese so called province Xinjiang. They have put our Muslim brothers and sisters in concentration camps there. They are suffering the same harsh lockdown due to China zero covid policy. What I said was relevant to the thread. Uyghurs probably were part of that protest. Xinjiang is Uyghur land.
That’s like india talking about Kashmir. Kashmir isn’t there’s. Just like East Turkistan or what China calls Xinjiang isn’t there’s.
I’m not provoking no fights I’m just stating facts.
Facts is that china oppresses our Muslim brothers in sisters in East Turkistan and illegally occupies them. They were their own separate country that China illegally annexed.
This thread includes mention of occupied East Turkistan because the title has Xinjiang in it. So I can state facts about East Turkistan and it’s relevant to this thread.
In Sha Allah @waz @LeGenD East Turkistan will be free. Allah is with them so no matter how many times you delete my posts it won’t change the fact that they’re occupied and they will be free’d.
With which mouth can we talk about Kashmir but stay silent for Uyghur’s.
