posting pictures from Punjab to Gupta era proves nothing , Murugan was the god of the 2nd sangam. When the Pandyas (or Pandi as per Malayali terminology) migrated after the 2nd sangam to the western land they brought along their Murugan cult. Which later influenced Aryan veda, Bhagavad Gita and acculturation into vedic brahmanism through Puranas.

Murugan cult existed in Sri Lanka before the arrival of Buddhism, Katiragama Murugan temple is over 2500 yrs old. The speaker was a Tamil Dalit who gave concrete examples of Periyars Anti-Dalit stand. His hate for dalits.
