Nobody in America is trying to "bring" Sharia on some national level. Not people, and definitely not the government.

In the United States, Sharia Law is an individual matter of the community (Muslim community) and Muslims practice various aspects of Shari'ah in their own lives to various degrees. How is this a problem? An equivalent of today's protest would be Pakistanis protesting hindus' worship of lord Shiva or protesting against hindus who don't eat meat on religious grounds...like wtf man? Each religious group has the right to practice their own faith and its code of conduct (as long as no law of the land is broken). You can not protest another religion's practices/laws on their personal level.

These protests are the bigoted targeting of one community (Muslim community).

They need an excuse, so they pretend as if somebody is trying to impose the sharia law upon trump his Nazi followers. Indirectly what they want to say is that they are not going to allow it in Muslim countries even if the majority in those Muslim countries wants it. Some democratic champions they are. In their country they'll have their laws but in our countries we must have their laws wrapped as 'our laws' or else we are going to end up with sisi type thugs.

This is the typical "play the victim" mentality we have seen over the years, replicated in different countries.
Problem is that people are now sick and tired of the double standards and trying to portray themselves as victims, all the while sympathizing with terrorists.

Don't try to jump on conclusions...and don't try to brush people with the same paint here....Ohhh Please check the fatwa of 130 British Imams after the very recent terrorist attacks in U.K....those 130 Imams simply issued fatwa for all Muslim community to not participate in any funeral prayers of guys who is directly or indirectly involved in any terrorist acts. Read the Fatwa of famous scholar Dr.Tahir ul Qadri who issued 600 page article.....explicitly said that such gruesome terror acts are inhumane cruel and unacceptable and should be dealt accordingly.
My previous reply was in the context of enormous size of USA, and the tiny little Muslim population there. Gun control, drugs, immigrants, blacks vs Whites, influx of refugees, white supremacists, unemployment, health reforms...the amount of problems in US is huge....and its historically, its not just the first time that during hard times like these ,minority is blamed for contributing to the problems already growing there. Italian, Irish had worst reputation once in USA during great depression, and now its simply the turn for Muslims. I mean such protests are taking place where Muslim population is not even 0.7 or 0.8 percent of the total....and people there are afraid of Sharia Law which many Muslim majority countries have never used. Don't try to overcook the things. But if you are fox news lover, i feel only sorry for you.
