I met an Indian couple a long time ago. They shared their history with me and I was so thrilled that I almost cried. They were the slaves taken from India 400 years ago who later fled to south America. Now they are American immigrant and still watch bollywood movies and love to identify themselves as Indian. My respect goes for them being not assimilated even after 400 years of their journey to the continent. That is how it should be.

I really think there's a communication gap between Muslim community and others everywhere. who's asking to assimilate and be the same like Majority people? Just don't be a nuisance and Burden. Don't accuse the others for not doing the work of assimilating. do that yourself.
on the other end of the spectrum, Parsi community of India is an asset to India. similarly, Tibetians, even though were refugees, command great respect. For that matter, even among Muslims, Afghan Indians, esp Khans have taken up Arts, Music, Cinema etc., are doing quite well. Just don't over play the politics and stink it up for every one.

HYDERABAD: The city police have launched a manhunt for four persons belonging to the Hindu community who they suspect triggered the communal disturbances in Old City last Sunday by hurling a piece of beef on the walls of the Hanuman Temple at Kurmaguda in Madannapet. All the four are residents of Kurmaguda and in their late twenties, police said, and claimed that the accused would be nabbed within the next 48 hours.

Reaping political benefits by intensifying communal polarization in the city is said to be the motive behind the attack. "We have reliable information confirming the role of four Hindu extremists in the Kurmaguda incident that started the recent communal disturbances. One of the accused was earlier arrested in the post-Bakrid communal violence incidents in the city. "All the accused are on the run and special teams have been formed to nab them," a top investigating officer told TOI.

Actually due to Ramjan these goons have time to create chaos,
At Every work place they make excuse of ramajan and leave for home, take rest , eat lots of food whole night up to morning then again rest. when some one make call for religion reach there to reduce extra fat on A_ss and create such terror activities.

I'm not sure of the exact figure or percentage but there is a large Muslim concentration in Hyderabad and it will only take a few sparks to get the flame going there too. I have heard the Muslim community there is well armed in case of riots... Do you know about that?

Culture is something which I should say "Survival of the fittest". Being a sizable minority yes certainly you can impose some sort of your own culture to the host country. For instance Indian Restaurant in Britain.
I also seen Bengali Town, China Town etc where they create a mini country within itself. Not a bad thing I suppose if you can sustain. There is nothing disrespecting about.

Imagine, threatened by Muslim Mob behavior and irrational demands, People don't let Muslim families in to neighborhoods or leave the ones already with Muslim Majority. you ll end with Muslim ghettos. And with the birth rates. Simply having more children per family, which they can't provide for will bring in to the society more uneducated/undereducated Muslim youth, who can vote, but hardly contribute to the society and blame everyone (incidentally the Majority people) about discrimination followed by Hatred, terrorism etc., (i.e., out breed others) This is hardly the survival of the fittest. it's survival of the most uncivilized or Populated.

And what. They are an island in the middle of deccan and AP police is well known for handling rioters.

Well my whole family was from Hyderabad. Migrated to Pakistan. A few relatives still live there. Don't know whether they are armed ot not. But what I know about those guys, they take religion seriously.
