Oh Bhai meray, Ka'ab committed treason. Pain means both mental and physical distress. Ka'ab caused both of these to the Muslims and the Prophet (saw) by switching sides and conspiring with the Qur'aish to launch a flanking manoeuvre against Medina. You know, sometimes you have to read around the context of things, and why each verse was revealed etc.

Well than that is not extremism yes some puppets of west want to portray as such but that is not extremism at all. And both of these laws will never get changed.

It absolutely is extremism - both sets of laws that I pointed out are in essence laws that legitimize hatred and intolerance towards people who do not share the same religious beliefs as the group implementing the laws.

And Pakistan will never truly be free of extremism and the extremist mindset until those laws are revoked and Pakistani society at large accepts the fact that the revocation of those laws was necessary.

Ahmedis should be allowed to call themselves Muslims, call their places of worship mosques (or whatever they want to call them) and allowed to freely promote their religion just as other Muslim sects and faiths are allowed to to. Pakistan's current laws reduce Ahmadi's to second class status and openly discriminate against them and should be abolished.

We, the State and the average Pakistani, are in no position to pass judgement on the faith of another community just because we disagree with it.
