Proposed new GHQ Design

Heard about the New Pakistan GHQ under construction in E10 Islamabad. All the pictures circulating on the media and social media of the new GHQ are more like Palace or Palm City house rather than a military headquarter. Here is the proposed (unofficial) design structure of the modern Pakistan Military complex. Also the design represents Pakistan's flag from Ariel view.

It is your work but what you missed is that GHQ is not just about architectural beauty (though the original building is far more beautiful and elegant than the above), it is functional building that has to be useful in multiple extreme situations like terrorist attack, nuclear, biological and chemical attack....should be able to keep functioning as a command and control centre and be able to protect against spying and reconnaissance.

I know what you mean (the palace option is a joke) and it's really great to see that you've put in some effort into this design proposal.

However, function and form must work together; what I mean by that is that we cannot start with an external design and then make things work internally. The Army has to first decide what it hopes to accomplish. GHQ is essentially a very large office, and work space design has a major impact on productivity by either encouraging or discouraging interactivity, cross-fertilization of ideas, etc.

Whatever the final design is, it should be:
a.) modern / state-of-the-art
b.) extremely secure (a nuclear power's GHQ should have multiple square miles of denied area surrounding it)
c.) a product of the goals of the organization (i.e. the synergies and efficiencies the Army would like to realize in its new HQ)

My 2 cents...

See the design structure. The right side is "Naval Headquarter". Just get an idea how large this structure is.

hey man i respect your graphics skills (i have one of your images set as my desktop background) but i just cant see your design as a GHQ...could be great for a library or something like that but not GHQ....anyways its just an opinion..cheers

Looks like a residential building but not much of a head quarter for army. I saw another image, I guess that official, was much better than this....

this is just an artist impression,What will come will be very different but will be similar to the other buildings in the vicinity and also might resemble Pakistani art and architecture.

What would be the fate of current GHQ once the new one gets operational?

That would be used as a prison.
