ISLAMABAD: A senior Iranian official said Iran has presented evidence to Islamabad that shows links between Pakistani intelligence services and the Jundallah militant group based in the Sistan-Balochistan province.

In an interview with the Fars news agency on Tuesday, the director of the Sistan-Balochistan provincial justice department, Ebrahim Hamidi said the documents were based on confessions obtained from Abdolmalek Rigi's brother Abdolhamid, who is currently in prison in Iran.

Iran alleges that Abdolmalek Rigi, who heads Jundallah, is based in Pakistan. He has organised several deadly attacks inside Iranian territory over the past few years, Iranian officials say.

Hamidi urged Pakistan to capture and extradite Abdolmalek Rigi so he can be tried on charges of ordering terrorist attacks.

We cannot rule out that certain ISI elements are colluding with Jundullah. Of course they are doing this with the full blessing of the CIA which is the main sponsor and brainchild of this particular outfit. Jundullah is a typical US proxy tool created to destabilize Iran. Also, there is no doubt that there are rouge Jundullah elements residing within Pakistani province of Baluchistan.

Yeh its same with your GOI evidence is not good enough but Kasabs confession is extremely credible evidence in your eyes.

^^ The CIA is supporting such rouge elements and has every stake in doing so. They are the third party. In fact, the Americans aren't hiding their support for Jundullah. Whether Jundullah is acting freely on Pakistani soil is a different matter. Certainly a matter of serious concern and one that the Pakistani security officials and politicians need to resolve for their own good. Pakistan cannot afford to have another unstable border region. Jundullah must be dismantled and its members brought to justice. Iran and Pakistan should cooperate closely on dismembering Judullah which is a foreign asset and a mutual interest shared by both.

why in blue hell will the ISI want to help an insurgent group that is based on Baloch nationalism when they are trying to fight a baloch nationalist insurgency in Balochistan this makes no sense. lets not believe everything that the Iranian Intelligence say because they are also the one that were claiming that they had Intelligence that the BBC was working for MI6 and CNN and Newsweek were publications of the CIA.
It is amazing that indian members and some Pakistan members will literally believe anything negative about Pakistan even when it doesnt make a lot of sense.

Not really the same as having ISI links. They operating in the fringes of the Balochistan province and for years both sides have been crossing in and out of the border. Also the word of the terrorist's brother is not proof.

Iranian involvement in certain issues related to internal security of Pakistan to certain level have been found out too.

I won't elaborate further as that's not to be made public, but Iranian hands are not totally clear too.

Excuse me... but why you Indians always whining? It really doesn’t take a brain surgeon to figure Jandullah is actually a Pakistani proxy which is used by US and even Israel? After Iraq, Iran is the biggest threat to Israel security and no one the Zionist and the Christian fando will tolerate a nuclear Iran. For Pakistan Jandullah provides a way to please US so the pressure of support for Taliban be minimized at the same time IRI is seen by security establishment of Pakistan as rival power that need to be weaken in order to expand Pakistani influences in Afghanistan and central Asia.
