Progress by Pakistan in tackling terror not quick as we like: Obama

thanks for the great info..as if we didnt learn from pakistan's mistake...and I have to say , you are actually right...but remember in Indo-US case..no one is friend..its just pure business. Pakistan was never in a position to give back to US what it can get...US kept giving in the name of friendship and when time came..they are extracting it all. In India's case..its business...we are not asking for favours....its a mutual co-operation. they need somthing from India..India needs something from them..a partner in equal term.

Only time will tell ... Well best of luck on this new venture ...

.
 Funny aint it? we r fight TTP and not afghan taliban and still getting paid?:azn:

By the way we lost 60-80 billion $ since the starting of WOT.... so

so you think your fight against TTP is not in USA's interest ?? or you think they are paying you just to fecilitate your Pm's abroad tour's and decorate his bungalows. whatever the condition..you are hired and not india.

I bet USA is being run by india whose own 50% people sleep with an empty stomach everyday?

any source to prove it ?? or just another troll statement ?? anways..dont know about US being run by India...but do you have any logical argument to prove my claim wrong ..that US needs job from india to support their economy ??

I wonder why USA and UK waste their TAX payers money every year donating billions of $$ in AID programmes, food charity etc?...........while indians run USA:smokin:

as I said above give logical reasons and argue like a senior member.
I am not saying pakistan is running USA or UK...these statement make you look immature.

I heard Mr Obama's talk with the students at St Xavier's college. I personally think he took a very balanced approach on the issue of extremism in Pakistan and also regarding Pak-India ties.

I'm not sure how news channels or print media are going to report it but there will be a slant, of that i'm sure. I already saw some indian channels like TIMES NOW and HEADLINES TODAY crying about how Obama's has been too soft on Pakistan and has perhaps disappointed Indians.

This is why i am posting a verbatim transcript of what he said. I may have missed a few points but this is all word for word.

"Pakistan is an enormous country. It is a strategically important country not just for the United States but for the world. It is a country whose people have enormous potential. But, it is also a country right now that within it has some of the extremist elements that we discussed in the first question. That’s not unique to Pakistan but obviously it exists in Pakistan. The Pakistani government is aware of that. And what we have tried to do over the last several years, certainly I speak about my foreign policy, is to try to engage aggressively with the Pakistani government to communicate that we want nothing more than a stable, peaceful, prosperous Pakistan. And that we will work with the Pakistani government in order to eradicate this extremism that we consider a cancer within the country that can potentially engulf the country."

On relations between India and Pkaistan;

"India and Pakistan can live side by side in peace so that both countries can prosper. That will not happen tomorrow but I think that needs to be our ultimate goal. And by the way the United States stands to be a friend and a partner in that process but we cannot impose that on India and Pakistan. Ultimately India and Pakistan have to arrive at their own understandings in terms of how their relationship grows."

this is a very clever statement, he seems to offer no justification here.

this is his way of avoiding kashmir, of avoiding the human rights issues in kashmir and leaving india do to as it pleases - because thats what will happen unless US intervene but he wants to wipe his hands clean from it.

sneaky bugger.

So if you want that your masters provides you with aid and free lunches then just listen to what we say ..

Yaar actually the problem is that if USA has employed Srilanka than we might have listened to them. But the issue is that Bharat doesn't have much worth in our eyes. So we might not listen to worthless employee of USA. Bad employment by USA. May be that's why their economy is in trouble.

The major issue is that it is not the auqat of Bharat to tell us that what to do and what not to do. :)
