‘Process on to deploy 1,700 Bangladeshi troopers in Saudi Arabia’

Let us think in another pov...Gulf people are rich. They value the life of their citizen more than the other people...So they can afford to avoid taking any risk to their life by outsourcing their security to other countries
you are wrong mines removing is risky job . they want BD guys to die not saudis .they need cheap labor to die and clean their country .

78 countries are contaminated with land mines and 15,000–20,000 people are killed every year

I'm not disagreeing with that at all. Of course, that is the primary reason, but the fact of the matter is that even countries like Canada have been removing mines in faraway places like Afghanistan. Removing mines is a risky task, but an important one that any military should be prepared to do. It's great that Bangladesh has been offered a contract to do this, given it'll bring experience as well as a little money.

Anyways, it is well known that the Saudi forces are poorly trained, especially in regards to poor subhuman-like treatment of NCOs by officers, and a non-existent relationship between the two branches. Iran, despite having much inferior weapons will likely wipe the floor with the Saudis in a hypothetical war without intervention of its allies.
