Priveledged Pakistan.

if U call this the most expensive house in lahore mate , and lahore being one of the biggest cities in Pak , I am disappointed.

You guys seem to be judging the book by it's cover.
The price tag could be due to the land mass area it covers.

Its a beautyful house but yes there are alot more beautyful ones in PAK.

These aren't even remotely close to the most expensive homes in Lahore. Ashiana on Aziz Ave on 100kanals is valued at between $60-$75M dollars. similarly, several large homes in the gulberg FCC area are over $30M.

as for gardens and interiors, these pics arent even within light years of what lahore has to offer!

For a poor country like Pakistan, these extravagant homes are a symbol of tyranny and shame. The overwhelmingly poor passerby's must look at these with disgust whose fates are written under the feet of the owners of these pharaoh homes.

Same goes to other poor countries like India.

Even in first world rich countries like Canada we don't have too many 30 million plus homes.

My take on this is a little different,
Albeit the source of the accumulated wealth can be questioned, however on the plus side, it has been invested in Pakistan and is not languishing in some Swiss vaults.

Don't agree. Most rich countries are littered with 30-million dollar plus homes. Go to realtor.com and search in the US in that price range and see how many results you get... and those are just the ones presently listed for sale.

The homes I am specifically alluding to, in fact, were built by scions of industrialist families three generations ago and have all stayed within the family, obviously multiplying drastically in value.

nothing extraordinary in this one!!

this sort of architecture is common like in cantt.

the first one is located in gulberg..so land value makes it expensive..otherwise we have damn beautiful houses in lhr..

You're well mistaken. What makes you think the owners of these homes don't have swiss/foreign accounts??

How much taxes do these industrialists pay? What are their contributions to their communities and society in generals?

and How many servant families do they own for eternity for the care take and maintenance of these pharoaic taghooti mansions? The poor souls whose children and next generations are chained to slavery with no hopes for any education or future but to serve their masters and spend their lives under their boots.

Yea but the owners of mansions in US/Canada and rich countries don't employ slaves for the care take of their homes. Even the maids here make decent money and have their rights.

They have their names written on Donors lists in Public schools, Hospitals, Universities, Well-fare centres, etc.

Some even donate their entire properties to the Churches and poor trusts in their lives before passing away.

Does any of that happen in Pakistan?

These mansions and houses are no sign of progress in countries like Pakistan/India.
