I watched it very good speech by PM Khan and hear the claps when he mentioned about the Turkish War of Independence and how the people of Pakistan helped out I may not like Erdogan,AKP or some aspects of Turkish foreign policy but Turkey is a dear friend of Pakistan and they are willing to invest

Sorry to say he is no leader. Hope he has a good team.
Trade is a offshoot of needs vs deliverables.
Does Pakistan make what Turkey wants ? That's all that matters. Except for a few totally abnormal relationships like indopak and Israel with the Muslim world, the rest of the world works on this principle.
Problem is that with a reducing gdp, the buying power of pakistanis is also on the decline. What should China or Turkey buy from Pakistan, which is required or coveted by its industry/people.
These speeches mean nothing. As a businessman nawaz was more in tune with trade. Unfortunately his hands were tied.

Why are Pakistanis so naïve? In Statecraft there is no such thing as friendship just interest...it is sad...but this is the way it is....of course have friendly relations on a national level and even individually...
