Prices can vary widely (except on line like Amazon) so it can be difficult to give you a hard price point. There are states whose median income are double others. I’m in one of the highest so the prices I quote will most likely be at the top end.

So almost $1 per liter. It's around $ 0.7 per liter here in India. Not much difference in absolute value and if you consider PPP, we are paying much higher.
