According to the article the development will be completed by 2015 .

Also it does not talk about Rajput getting KMGT .

The engine has been further tested to its potential of 12 MW at ISA SL 35°C condition which is the requirement of the Indian Navy for propelling the SNF (Rajput) class of missile ships.

But even the DRDO hasn't claimed the missile as " cruise " one , right ? You may have forgotten , the discussion that took place on another thread on the same " shaped trajectory " missile flying at hypersonic missiles . A ballistic missile borrowing some trajectory characteristics from the " cruise missile " can easily do that . It isn't uncommon for ballistic missiles to attain such speeds .

Again,some one here seems much jealous of Indian Aerospace Industry which is capable of developing its own fighters,trainers,helicopters and even space launchers and sats.

We are capable of manufacturing airframe & structural components for Boeing(for F 18,boeing 777,787 and many more),Dornier,Lockheed etc.And even design work,FBW software and Avionics development is undertaken in India.You got problems with that?

As for Dornier officials,they are here to ensure next gen stantard,the airframes are for Dornier 228 NG version,Dornier knows that HAL has been producing Do 228 for 30 years.

LMAO.. dnt embarass urself... they will send their staff to ensure quality of the airframes aka shells which will be completed by Dornier in Germany... and wil not use vintage ... built in india.. lol reas the article u posted kid.

And Dhruv is not a cheap heli,its capable of operating at high altitudes,and it has proven its capabilities in utharakhand flood ops.It uses a variety of advanced technologies-composite hingeless rotor,advanced turbomecca-hal engine,FADEC,bearingless tail rotor

He never challanges DRDO s claim of a shaped trajectory missile,read his post above.And no one here on pdf knows more about Shaurya than DRDO chief,So stop crying dude.

Understand one thing- A pure BM of 1000 km altitude will NOT cruise at altitude of 50 kms at mach 6,its apogee and top speed would be higher.

And calling my post non sense does not hide your failure,You made claims about Indigenously made Nuclear reactors (When you doesnt have ultra heavy forging) and Indigenously made RSS sat (with ZERO experience in camera optics for sats or making a satellite weighing more than a 100 kg)

And what about claim that India was largest importer of N reactors??Thats the height of ignorance.

So better learn facts before making big claims.....
