The Russian position on cross-border terrorism from Pakistan is significant since it had held a joint military exercise with Pakistan in the last week of September. Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar said Russia’s ties with Pakistan will “never” lead to anything that might be contrary to India’s interest. Echoing India’s concerns, Sergey Chemezov, head of Rostec State Corporation said Russia does not intend to sell any military hardware to Pakistan at “present”.

“The military exercises in September this year were directly connected with modernising counter terror operations in Pakistan,” Mr Chemezov told the media.

“Terrorism is a global issue. The [country that is the] epicentre of terrorism is near India. But the actions of that country [Pakistan] is having global impacts. We agreed on the need to have an international legal framework on terrorism and better border management” said Mr Jaishankar.

We also mumbled with your "close friend " Saudi Arabia. After mumbling Saudi Arabia decided to invest $75 billion dollars. Oh the irony!!!

Ever since Modi came, there's a paradigm shift in how the world perceives India. Can u find the irony in that?

Still they don't let you in OIC? Irony just get harder.

Every country have right to take advantage of cheap indian labor and 1.3 billion market, Saudis taking advantage of it too. Nothing special in that. While Saudis have strategic and deeply rooted military agreements with Pakistan. Troops belonging to Pakistan military are also known to be stationed in KSA. All this prove the ties are only getting stronger between the two nations.

Look at Iran and Afghanistan, even though india is trying hard to "isolate" Pakistan and investing heavily in these 2 countries just to distance these countries from Pakistan but these countries have openly show their interest in joining projects like CPEC. So the point is, no nation is stupid enough to ignore huge markets like Pakistan or India contrary of their strategic or militarily tilts. :coffee:

Really,:cheesy:
Bhai, I don't know where u get your news from. Relationship with Afghanistan is worst in its history. Saudi Arabia is tilting towards India.

I have no doubt in my mind that Pakistan has a big potential to attract investment however because of terrorism not many will come forward. Even China has backed away from projects due to rising cost because of terrorism.

I know the relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan. But did you read the news recently? Afghanistan has shown interests in CPEC openly. Going by your logic, they should not because they are India's new friend.
