You do not tell your largest trading partner to F off. What happens if EU/UK/USA tell Pak to F-off with its exports or put restrictions on remittance from Pakistanis into Pakistan? What happens if they start treating you the same as they treat Iran? What happens when others follow?

IK should make a phone call to both the countries presidents and then issue them the invitation for the exploratory talks without any preconditions. If they refuse IK should then give an interview and let whole the world know what he has done. If they accept the invitation Pakistan will take the centre stage and all the EU and clan will shut up. Every one will say wah wah without breaking the bank and we will look pretty and world will commend us and then we can claim we have tried for the peace.

The last time we helped US/NATO countries to exit Afghanistan they blamed us for their defeat.

Pakistan's highest exports are to Europe. We have GSP Plus status. We should act as a mediator to bring both sides to discussion table while ensuring we secure some benefit out of the situation for ourselves also. Russia should end the aggression. US should agree to leave the region neutral and de-militarize it. US should also ease sanctions on Russia. As PM says we should be partners in peace. No sides taken over conflict. Pakistan should be securing its self-interest. At the same time not creating any new enemies unnecessarily.

IMO best compromise is

1. Ukraine recognises Crimea as Russia

2. Russia agrees to stop interfering in Ukraine

3. War ends and Russian troops leave, Ukraine is awarded damages by the Russian State( Can be oil and gas)

4. Ukraine pledges not to join NATO, but as a sovereign nation it is free to choose allies and join EU or other organisations

5. Russia is allowed back into the council of Europe

6. An international peace keeping force monitors and maintains a DMZ between Ukraine, Russia and Belarus.

7. Sanctions are eased off Russia and Belarus as they go down the implementation plan of the peace agreement.

8. ICJ to investigate war crimes on both sides.

Take Pakistan off FATF and cancel all Pakistan debt in a legally binding agreement which is Irrevocable and Permanent AND permanently revoke all economic sanctions of the Russian Federation, including the reinstatement of Nord Stream 2.

If EU wants Pakistan's help on Russia and Ukraine, the two demands are legally binding requirements for Pakistan to even think about helping the EU.

The EU & its President doesn't even look in Pakistan's direction unless they need something.

PIA evacuated hundreds of EU personnel on our B777's last year. All we got out of it was an Award from the UN (I think) & [MashahAllah], the BAN is still present.

Pakistan is still on FATF Grey List & made sure it stays there - indefinitely.

Things are progressing much differently. US is the real puppet master controlling the show. It is yet to be seen where US ambitions would land Russia & the world. US is taking this opportunity to completely isolating and cornering a large country like Russia. That puppet president of Ukraine is also receiving large sums from Jews and US lobbies to refuse from negotiations. He is increasing his enticing statements everyday. He doesn't care about lives of his people. They(US,EU,Ukraine) have played well, Russia has lost economic future just in a few days and it might be pushed into a war of its survival which is mutually destructive for its own self. Sanctions are unlikely to be ever eased. US can kill Russia with this excuse. Russia did not calculate US's media might, narrative shaping ability. Russia thought it will call it a limited conflict. Ukraine + its backers were able to avoid massive loss of civilians while incriminating Russia for a full scale war. Now Russia must be thinking it was perhaps better if we had scaled a full fledge war and flattened the country. Plus only real option with Russia is to increase the conflict and attack more areas, but then again Russia would be afraid about the outcome if west increases its response. Russia's biggest export is oil and gas. With US sanctioning Russian oil & gas, Russia is getting desperate to ensure its country can survive civil unrest + fund a war. I have heard that Russia is offering Russian oil to India at 27% discount rate. This shows the desperation of their situation. Not many countries would dare to stand against US sanctions.
