The basic support for Assad is on sectarian lines. Simply, he has to leave either peacefully or forcefully. Once that is done the Syrian people can decide their future and safeguard the minorities that exist within their nation. Pakistan is with the Syrian people, not dictators (as we know what it is to live under one)

.
No need to entertain others during a time of recession in Pakistan itself. Assad brought the war on his people, we shouldn't get involved with it.

Not surprising though, Zardari will show total support for Assad yet won't bother about the fire on our own backyard where our own people are being killed.

=FaujHistorian;4222257]Assad the butcher must leave.

Are you syrian that you have the right to decide who runs that country.

There will not be a dialogue until his @rse is planted in the presidential chair.

Again who are you to decide.

And why does this butcher think that he owns Syria.

Funny last i checked country is still called Syria not Saudi arabia

syria is for the people of that gad-awful country.

No **** Einstein so Saudis sending in foreign terrorist is for the goodness of Syrian people.

But Assad is behaving like Hizbullah and TTP and Saddam Hussein by killing and oppressing his own people.

Saddam Hussein and TTP were and are also supported by Saudis

Pakistan should have refused to accept this letter.

Why if they heaven t refused the Saudis the real butchers and terrorist supporters
I have personally met folks from besieged cities like Aleppo.

what do u want the Syrian army to do when terrorist are coming in through Aleppo put out a welcome mat.

basshar goons have utterly destroyed that beautiful city.

Wrong terrorist financed and trained by Saudis have destroyed the city just like swat and other FATA areas>

Assad has no shame. He is bombing his own history like Taliban bombed Buddha statues.

So you want the Syrian army to stop shooting the terrorist hiding and give them safe refuge cause they are hiding in people homes and historic buildings.`

your definition of peace is supporting terrorism really.

Their is a big problem with us we start blaming every one without any proof We are calling assad butcher why do you ever saw him killing any or is that what media shows you, but you forgot one thing thats the same media who was crying about WMD in iraq , did they find any weapons their nop not a single one, I dont Support syrian terrorist because if i support them it will be same as i am supporting all the terrorist in Pakistan or any other country its birth right of every one to chose what he wants and we have to do it peacefully not by blowing every one Up Hope Future brings the best for every one every single human being

funny you bring that up our own people are suffering cause of terrorism financed by Arabs Saudis.but i guess in Syria case those are good terrorist and bad in pakistan.

Terrorist in pakistan any different they want the same terrorist in Syria wants why double standereds.

.
Brother ur right... but i dont support Asad either... he is just another dictator.... i support the syrian people... who should stand up and decide their future... even if it calls for bearing arms... God luck to the syrian people... May Allah bless you all..

The entire Syrian episode is perfect diplomatic and statergic move by the powerful nations to exploit and open the weakness of the Islamic world and the middle east...On the one hand, it is true that Assad may not be right person, if some one is thinking that opposition group which is heavily inflitrated with terrorist groups are the better people to lead Syria, then they are just dreaming in the blue moon..If ever it happens that FSA and Opposition win and Assad goes down, then Syria will be another the battleground for middle east where it will be another Afganistan in the reckoning...

So dictators in neighboring countries are bringing freedom to Syrian people do u see the irony. If basic support for Assad was on sectarian lines Assad would have been toast by know.

Dude, what the hell do you care? You're not even Arab or SYRIAN!!!

If Syria becomes another Afghanistan ruled by a bunch of cavemen mentality mullahs i hope your rear end gets deported there.

Like for yourself what you like for others.

.
this bloodshed can end easily, when foreign countries end their weapons and terrorists flow into Syria more weapons= longer war= more bloodshed=destruction ... if there was no foreign interference, there would be no war in Syria...

then pray that Saudia Arabia runs out of oil otherwise bloodshed among muslim will continue

@Aeronaut: Of course, a single Pakistani hates him more than all the Syrian rebels hate Assad combined.

well he is the only representative of Pakistan for now... we respect Pakistan sovereignty and dignity... it's an internal problem between Pakistanis... we Syrians have no say what happens inside Pakistan, if you like him or hate him, its Pakistan internal problem...

By writing letter to a man who isn't addressed without a swear word attached to his name, in Pakistan Asad has indeed proven his level.
