You dont talk like that when you bring in 24 fighters against 8, and when 12 IAF mirages intruded Pakistani airspace your PAF was sleeping.
What we did was again repeated by you, what makes you think IAF is inferior? The guts to take on Another fighter? fighting against veteran fighters makes IAF inferior? It takes nerves of steel to fight an enemy that both have, PAF did sonic booms using 2 aircraft, we did that with the whole western command, PAF is a worthy adversary, but soldiers dont talk like that....

You have very large area to cover. So you need more air superiority fighters even if you have enemy china as well, Aksai chin & some serious hot border issues. You are lacking jet fighters in numbers to contain china & Pakistan. Pakistan don't have such large area to cover. PAF always performed well in wars. Even our 24 jets went back unharmed . SU30MKI, mig2000 was too late to counter PAF 3.5 & 4+ gen fighters.

India can't do jack $hit, they already got a bloody nose and 56 inch hole in bottom. Apart from any attack from the enemy we should be prepared for accidents and natural disasters. We have witnessed in past the difficulties in taking over large fires in urban areas.

We shouldn't underestimate their millitary capabilities, nor should we doubt the political will in India for another misadventure. It may not have to happen before election, but we face a serious threat from them.

And as other knowledgeable members have said, the next time may not be easy, if there is another attack, it will be on their terms and preperation. but they should keep one thing in mind after response of pakistan on 27 feb that their any misadventure will lead to an equal reaction by pakistan. pak will not stay quiet and it may lead to a full scale war.

Basic issue between India and Pakistan is Kashmir issue, its purely between India and Pakistan. China has nothing to do with it. Dont say China is using Pakistan. Pakistan brought 24 jets when performing airstrikes in indian control territory. Which means your defense systems, your jets, etc. Your fighters were shot down when they tried to respond to that Pakistani attack.

Before that, your fighters intruded Pakistani airspace with an objective of destroying a religious school, due to PAF interception, your jets dropped the bomb prematurely hitting 7 trees and a crow.
