Prence Saud Al-Faisal-- We will stand by Syrian people whatever it takes

Maybe involve these armies which have no purpose.
Thats actually more "standing with your brothers".

To be honest with you, this is a gullible logic. First of all, the purpose of building armies is not for war but rather for deterrence and political clout, in other words to save the country and it's accomplishments, it's the same as men who build their bodies which would make the possibility for them to get involved in fights Very tiny, why? simply because other people fear them.

Second of all, KSA announced that it would spear head any international attack on SAA if agreed on in the UN, and it has been relentlessly trying to pass a resolution that condemn the Syrian regime which was blocked by China and Russia. And that's what made KSA very angry at them. KSA doesn't live in 8th century to attack an another regime or country without giving any consideration to international law or global powers.

I know right, you will not risk it having the Jordanian forces take action in Syria even though it "benefits" the Syrians according to some.
But let the war go on for 10 more years there, the risk is too great for a few Jordanians to die.

Why does KSA wait for an international attack, why cant you guys do anything on your own.
In this picture, how many countries are against SAA and how many support SAA.
Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, GCC all together are not able to use their air force for a no-fly zone ?

This is the same "standing by your brothers" as the Arabs did in 2003, do you know why the US actually came into Iraq so easily ?
In 2003 Iraq expected an invasion to come through Jordan, most forces were stationed there, shows howmuch Saddam trusted the king, well know he cannot say a big NO to the USA if they request it.

Here some evidence

According to General Tommy Franks, an American officer working undercover as a diplomat, was approached by an Iraqi intelligence agent. April Fool then sold to the Iraqi false "top secret" invasion plans provided by Franks' team. This decoy deception successfully misled the Iraqi military into deploying major forces in Northern and Western Iraq in anticipation of attacks by way of Turkey or Jordan, which never took place. This greatly reduced the defensive capacity in the rest of Iraq and significantly facilitated the actual attacks via Kuwait and the Persian Gulf in the southeast.

KSA is known with tight mouths, their actions speak for themselves. Nevertheless, when they say sth, they mean it and stick to it, they just don't say things they are not going to do. This is not only my observation of them but some Western officials said this is what distinguishes KSA from other countries in a couple of documentaries, they are honest and respect their own words.

As for me, I trust this honorable man. :)

The saudis really do stick to their word. Like when they kept saying in the media that they won't allow their country to be used a launch pad to bomb Iraq.
What happened later do u recall?
They allowed the USA to bomb my beloved Iraq and kill thousands of civilians. See they don't just say things they aren't going to do!
PS give me a break

Source plz on this. It's baseless to save your time.

Well, as I told you those countries can't do sth on their own without a UN resolution, even USA can't do that either. Anyway, this war wouldn't last for too long, and if so that means Alawite people will be obliterated along with Hz, as they can't afford daily casualties for more few years.

Even though Jordan Iraq were good friends, we all know the king is much closer to the west, Saddam knew this and the military officials knew it aswell.
Cannot trust anyone in the ME.

They didn't actually, invading Iraq was the last thing that KSA wanted. Anyhow, check this:

"In 1991 Saudi Arabia fiercely resisted the toppling of Saddam’s regime and played a major role in pressurising the U.S. to turn its back on the popular uprising against Saddam’s tyrannical regime. In 2003, however, Saudi Arabia’s immense influence in the U.S. was dramatically weakened due to the decisive role played by Saudi nationals in the 9/11 atrocities in the heart of the U.S."

There were actually forces which attacked from Jordan, but their numbers were small as they were special forces, nothing more, it's impossible to miss large numbers of American troops in a small country like Jordan. This is one of the things that makes me ashamed though.

Jordan is much bigger then Kuwait, 90% of the forces in 2003 came form Kuwait if not 90%+.
This worked good by the US intelligence, but my point with it is showing that no one trusts each other in the ME, Arab states are closer to the west then to other Arab states.

You are showing me an article in which the Saudis are against American involvement in a popular uprising in Iraq when they stanch supporters of American and zionist interference in the Syrian uprising.
Anyways this article is irrelevant.
FACT is and there is no arguing about it because it is a fact, Saudi Arabia allowed the USA to launch attacks on my country and kill my people despite saying they wouldn't.

I was talking about 2003 invasion. And BTW, it's not like Saddam was innocent, he invaded Kuwait and was going to invade KSA, put yourself their places and see it from that angle. All I know is that KSA tried all possible and impossible ways to convince Saddam to withdraw from Kuwait to avoid any war, but he was stubborn as hell and didn't withdraw but after the attacks started.

You, the Saudis and the Americans know full well that Iraq was a threat to no country in 2003. So why oh why did they allow the USA to bomb us? It's a simple question. Just answer it please

Let's be frank here. KSA fiercely opposed USA invasion of Iraq and it's motivation was mainly to avoid Shia getting the reign in Iraq as they are the majority. Go back to the paragraph I already posted. As for Jordanian limited role, I'm ashamed of it, but what can I do?

Not a single aircraft took off from KSA to Iraq. In FACT all American soldiers were kicked out of Saudi Arabia prior to the Iraq invasion.
