What's new

PPP wins Sanghar, Karachi by-polls, PDM Pishin

The criteria for any city is the same. Lahore is plagued by 3 decades of corrupt practices, it would be a miracle if it can sustain itself than storming ahead.

Karachi is still the most modern city of Pakistan.

It's just politically abandoned and for good reason. Solve the country's politics elsewhere from the financial hub

Corruption sure, but the province if anything spent a large amount developing Lahore and making it a better city

At the moment Karachi is very much being punished by the PPP provincial government

When PPP won in Karachi they just left it to ruin and looted it

This is not sustainable

In the end what will happen Karachi will implode if this is not dealt with

Karachi is free to vote for whomever but unless it's budget and development is detached from.the shit show in interior Sindh it's going to drown

You are assuming that good can come out corruption. It does not. It masks
This is not sustainable
The region can sustain any plunder of any scale. Its reputation for being god gifted is not just a folklore or a myth.

Then why give 500mln bribe to petty politicians?

was watching the TV, PTi is getting phantified in sialkot and wazirabad as well.

Pti gained good votes in Punjab but quite strange about they lost in prlervaiz khattack area in KP...and that also to PML n not to anp or jui

It may not be in our life time but Karachi will eventually become a separate province. There was a JOKE we heard when we were young, “if you encounter Sindhi and Snake, kill Sindhi first because snake will only bite you once but Sindhi will continue to bite you again and again.” This is reference to Sindh and its treatment of non-Sindhi. Why there is a quota system in Sindh?
Blatent racism. But then as long as it's not a Mohajir at the recieving end all is fine? And if I was Sindhi I would say maybe the Indian's would have treated you better and you made a mistake moving to Sindh. Then is always chance of going back.

A sitting minister of KP cabinet along with his son was celebrating with PML-N candidate who won from Nowshera who also happened to be his relative. Liaquat Khattak is the name of the minister. Proper aasteen ka saanp. Seems PTI lost due to internal rift. IK needs to take action.

Any update on na 45 seat. This was JUI seat in 2018 elections and if pti manage to win this one than this will be a huge gain for pti.. At the moment pti candidate is in a lead
Na seat is even bigger than pk seat which pti lost since opposition will launch no confidence vote in NA in few months time

.
There are 3 kind of voters....

1) Willing and happy to vote
2) intimidation, Scared, forced and manipulated.
3) Bought for cash or promised for something in the future.

PPP uses # 2 and #3.

It’s a game of catch22, Establishment gets support from feudal system so they have to keep PPP alive and to balance the power they have MQM and PTI. That’s the main reason establishment gave these parties free hand to destroy Karachi and so there is a reason for industries from Karachi can be relocated to Punjab. You can call it whatever you want to, Greater Punjab movement or whatever.
Some establishment went against ZiaulHaq when he pitched the idea of having 18 provinces in Pakistan. Until and unless we have smaller administrative units, we will continue to face the some music chair game.

I could have; very reluctantly though; agreed with you until I read the highlighted part. PPP doesnt want to break Sind, PMLN doesn't want to break Punjab. They will give their lives for united Punjab and Sind....this is their pie man and they dont want to share their pie. Establishment; if they are so powerful; would love to break into smaller provinces because smaller units are easier to control. What kind of lame establishment we have that a nobody stands up with the support for 200 people and start barking against that establishment openly.

If i had to agree with you and believe there is some establishment; not these chore politicians; than that establishment is very weak and lame who cannot even control one lame woman.

On that seat it is PTI vs PTI. The winner and runner-up are neck and neck. Currently PTI ticket holder in the lead but the runner up is independent candidate who lost from this seat in 2018 ON PTI TICKET!

JUI number three with no chance of retaining the seat.

Yeah if pti wins than it will be over all good result for them despite of nowshera lost. NA seat is always important and bigger. Pti has 2-3rd majority in kp provincial assembly already so one lost won't make any difference especially when pti is getting 1 extra seat of NA. Anyways it would had been great if pti won from daska as well.... It was literally entire pdm vs pti. Yet pti candidate lost with very thin margin when Maryam, ranasunnallah and entire pmln machinery was there to defend their seat

Jui candidate is closing down just 2000 votes difference left ...pti 16k Jui 14k indep too at 14k.. 10 more polling stations result left
