PPP proposes Najam Sethi's name for caretaker CM Punjab

Pakistan People's Party (PPP) has proposed the name of senior journalist Najam Sethi for the office of caretaker Chief Minister Punjab.

In a letter to Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif‚ PPP's Raja Riaz said the names of Mian Amir and Riaz Randhawa‚ which were earlier proposed for the slot‚ have been withdrawn.

Meanwhile‚ PML-N has proposed names of Rana Sanaullah‚ Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman‚ and Iqbal Channar for assembly committee to decide on a caretaker chief minister Punjab.

PPP has already given the name of Justice (Retd) Zahid Hussain for the caretaker Punjab chief minister.
