Econ/Finance/accountant/Industrialist leading Treasury.
Police/Lawyer/Intelligence leading Interior.
Lawyer/Judge leading Justice.

Seems good by its definition. But i dont know why are they (PMLN & PPPP) opposing this and most important "who is trying to bring such government in the first place ??"

Well elections ain't gonna happen in Pakistan for the foreseeable future.

A long term interim government technocrat in form may stabilise the economy.

Anyone willing to take part and the election without reforms basically are leeches of the corrupt system. It's good as gone but for the stupid media war between two old spent horses.

It's mostly a last ditch effort to stabilize the government. Usually when the government has lost popular support, it can't hold elections, or create a coalition to create a government.

Technocratic governments focus on sustainability. Setting up short-term fixes, which would be unpopular with an elected government and relies heavily on individuals who will not necessarily have a background with politics. Usually with "democracy" the people elect the representatives, depend on type, the representatives either go in to ministries or overlooking them.

Democracies only work when there's accountability. You're all much closer to Pakistan than I am, Do you see accountability?

Good definition and the example of technocrat govt is Singapore .... the Asian country with world no. 1 passport and very high living standard. China is another example, though people think it is communist party but there is more to it, the members start by administrating small villages & towns and grow from their until they reach the top.
