I believe that you know the Price of one B-2 ? Possible is KC-135 ,which is aderivative platform of B-52

To launch Cruise Missiles KC-135 need to be modified and the Lack of stealth Capabillity does not allow KC-135 to be used for tactical Bombing Missions against advancing Enemy Ground Forces. The same can be said for C-130, A-400M or TRJ-628 if they will be use'd as "Transport Bomber". B-1 or B-2 can be used for tactical Bombing Missions against enemy advancing Ground Forces !

Thank you for your contribution, it was only a think-thank, cause US operates B-52 thats the same platform of KC-135 with 8 jets instead of 4 of the KC-135.
Of course they are not stealth. But our KC-135 are tanker and cargo capable. New Generation of Tanker aircraft will come and KC-135s are ongoing complete structural and avionic modification. What will we do with them ? You know that we are preparing some C-130 for gunships.
B 52 will kept in Service until 2045.

From the Point of Turkeys Interests and Ambitions in north West Africa and to strength the Position of the Allie Pakistan in south Asia, I see in long Term a need for an strategic Bomber Fleet for TurAF. Cruise Missiles deployed on tactical Fighter, TEL's, Ships and Submarines will only guarant a strong Power Projection in the eastern Mediterran. For the arabian Sea, straight of Gibraltar and moroccan Atlantic Coast we will need more !

There were a lot of improvements during the last 13 Years, before we can only Dream about making indigenous Drones, Warships, Tanks etc. Turkey need a strong Goverment and not many Parties which only follow their Own Agenda, make an Coalition and blockade each other ! With this Way Turkey will be weak and dependent on Europe and US !

They were upgraded for Compass, Radar and Global Positioning System, which eliminated the need for a Navigator and get structural maintenance after "Operation Libya"!
Even USA invested 1.1 Billion USD for their Backbone KC-135 tanker Fleet for Depot Level maintenance of 200 Units.

MLRS Ships must be nearly and work frigates or corvettes. They must hide it.

As long as USAF doesn't, we neither But this puts us in some marks over; but afaik US plans to aquire KC-46 by the beginning of 2018.
