Power crisis ‘loadshedding’

Gop should subsidize solar power and make the equipment cheap so that each household can generate its own power.. that seems the only solution in long term basis..

It is not possible as a mega watt of solar power cost 4-5 times of thermal power.

For household panels there are many problem:

1. They will be expensive even after subsidy

2. They can be damaged

3. They can be stolen

4. Every person don't have that mush space to install them.

In India Govt. is taking many steps like providing solar laltain.

Tata Power is running a scheme in Delhi, if you install a solar panel and generate electricity for your consumption and extra electricity can be sold to Tata Power they are offering good option.

But every country needs its customized solutions.

The people, Govt., Business houses and NGOs of Pakistan have to think and deside what suits them best.

Spend 2500-3000 USD get your self : good quality solar Pannels that can give you 1000-1500 watts and you will always have fans , and light bulbs and even tv and computer running for 4-5 hours ~~ with out fuel or petrol

You are partly right buddy. However, solar cell panels are costly to install and maintain. You may also need a battery to store the charge. However, if you get some govt subsidies or soft loans, good solar generation projects can be installed using say 20-100 houses as a cluster.

Also we must note that there are political reasons to keep the Solar energy cost at High.....
Solar research has lot to offer...... it still is not explored to make it offordable to poor because of political reasons. Some bussiness houses doesn't want the solar power to reach the mass....
