I am related to Temur from Dad's uncle's brother in law's nephew's horse side.

actually, since i joined this site and met wonderful bros like Rmi5 and Ghara ghan from Iran i began to wonder what would happen IF there was a war between Turkey/Azerbaijan and Iran and IF Ghara ghan and Rmi5 were forced to enlist in the Iranian army, then i would feel really shitty. even if this is just a fantasy, i am sure there are many other Turkic guys serving in the Iranian army.

@rmi5 do you think the Turkics in Iran in general have a sense of 'blood is thicker than water' when it comes to dealing with other Turkics or do you think Turkics in Iran are in general loyal to Iran due to religion or another factor that i overlooked?

It is a really complicated problem. About half of Azeris are currently living in Tehran and have their own business, companies, ... , and many of them would care about their own businesses. There are some religious people who may tend to sectarianism if a war happens. There are some grey wolves who would tend to support their Turkic brothers, ... I think it would really depends on the management of the situation by those government and their propagandas at the time. Would they try to make it sectarian? would it make as a nationalistic war? and many other questions that can affect the situations a lot in that case.
