When France will break and become anarchy,that various regions and departements will claim their independence,Saônia will probably invade Switzerland and steal their wealth.

Maybe the french-speaking cantons will join the great Saônia in its struggle !

PS : It's not a joke,the Swiss army really held an exercice in which they simulated the invasion of Switzerland by an indebted France who's goal was to steal their wealth.

Swiss is thinking big, bigger than you can imagine.
And yes the defensive lines at the strategic points are still active, like French border.

As possible candidates for accession, the motion named Alsace (FR), Aosta (IT), Bolzano (IT), Jura (FR), Vorarlberg (AT), Ain (FR), Savoie (FR), Baden-Württemberg (DE), Varese (IT), Como (IT) "and others".[10]

good stuff man, so how are you paying now for your new package? and whats the minimum contract speed you should be getting?

so now you can finally watch the grand tour in 4k, well thats if you have a 4k tv.

Now I'll pay about €48/months compared to the other provider which made me pay €38/months for less than 5mb. But since I'm a new customer,I'll pay only €25 during one year. I think the minimum speeds I should get is 200 in download and 100 in upload,but I'll wait.

I don't have a 4K TV,but I'll think about buying one. Now I can watch TV in HD,call and use internet without anything bugging or lagging,it's a different world !

if you want some advice do this just two weeks after the end of the first year tem ends give a cancellation notice saying you looking around and your too expensive bla bla bla.......... wait for a phone call from your provider offering you a better deal then haggle and there you have your current broadband with sweeteners.

Nice!! What're you using the extra speed for? Downloading "research" material?

When I first bought my house we didn't even have WiFi put in, just hardlines for Ethernet. My girlfriend was huge into PC gaming at the time (and still is, just not professionally anymore. DOTA 2 and CS:GO on the Pro circuit) and hardlines where faster and more reliable connections for online gaming. Better ping, better latency, faster streaming, an all around improvement over WiFi.

Fast forward a few years and we've WiFi now. I'm paying for 120mb/s download, but I've been having problems with an older WiFi adaptor since switching over to a new MoBo and processor, porting a SATA-1 compatible Wifi adaptor to a SATA-3 port. A major downgrade. Still the latency shouldn't be this bad, so I think it might be the age of the adaptor that's the problem for me, or a loose antenna. I'm not entirely sure though.

Right now I have my desktop hardlinked to an Ethernet connect, as well as my Girlfriend's to another port, but it's pretty inconvenient. Recently I've taken to using a tablet for mobile internet instead.

I'm jealous!! My Wifi doesn't come anywhere close to that. Ethernet's quite a bit faster though (like 3.5x times faster).

That this is true is great.... who knew the Swiss considered French anarchy their biggest external threat? Shows just how far the Germans have fallen in Europe. What're you doing over there Merkel? It's been ages since Poland's had a good invasion.

Well,there's a slight problem.... In fact for different reasons and preferences,I might not going to stay with my new ISP. Yeah the guy changes internet provider everydays,lol. Because I found another offer from another provider which,for a slightly inferior price,I get even more services,more and relevant channels,unlimited VOD and such. Problem is that it's not in FTTH,but more like FTTLa. (With that coaxial cable.)
So I might get inferior speed compared to what I currently have,but that would still be correct in my opinion. As long as my family watches TV,call and me going on internet and download things without bugging or lagging,it's all right.
