I must say Indians do take the initiative which Pakistanis don't or can't... either way India's primary goal here is to unnerve the investors who may seek to invest when a new government in Pakistan is just about give an impression of taking on corruption and bringing transparency. You do have to understand India has a lot of internal contingencies, being on a back foot in Indian Punjab and souther India along with rising nationalism in Marathas. So, their aim is also to divert peoples attention to a foreign enemy to keep internal cohesion. Pakistan has never really tried to test the internal Indian dynamics.

Don't mistake that. These are battlefield missiles meant to do precision strike with conventional ammunition. Tactical nuke are waste. They are useless and serve no purpose. They simply waste plutonium which is limited in quantity

Just last three years, some high-ranking officers went under trial and were given a dishonourable discharge under Raheel Sharif. You do realize that there are Military Courts for exactly this purpose right? These are usually not disclosed to public media but some instances make it through.

The Pakistan military structure underwent a lot of change during Musharraf's presidency or dictatorship, however you want to put it, in which soldiers and generals sympathetic with the then Mujahideen, we're talking about early 2000 here, were rooted out and given dishonourable discharge, prevented from taking higher positions and downgraded to lower positions and so on. The structure change was so strict that even physical appearance was taken into consideration and it is why you will not and cannot find in most cases any high-position Army officer with a long beard even.

The military-affiliated intelligence wings also keep eyes on corruption, disorder or anti state elements within the Army and rogue elements within the Pakistan Army.

A war with India means that both nations lose, because nukes.

In the event that nukes aren't used, both sides would suffer greatly, but because India has made so many big strides in the last 2 decades, India would be favored by quantity AND quality wise, when it comes to man power and technology.

Not to mention that Pakistan has gear it's military more towards fighting insurgencies. While this has given Pakistan invaluable experience and kept it's swords sharp, it also means that the PA needs to, once again prioritize conventional capabilities, if war is inevitable with India.

All in all, war with India should be avoided. If nukes are used, both nations cease to exist. If nukes aren't used, India would suffer, but likely come out better than Pakistan.
