No wonder how you get -25 keep it up buddy trolling is good for you.Hand over pakistani illegal occupied areas of J&K to India...pakistan shd offer unconditional apologies for sending their terrorists. And repay india for what ever damage pakistan has caused in proxy war..
No Sir Muslim majority areas should be handed to Pakistan.It would be a huge comedown for India but converting the LC into an IB is the only option.

@Icarus
need your opinion and pls take care of trolls
I think Pakistan's policy on the matter is very reasonable, we don't ask for India to give up on Kashmir and hand it over to us on a silver platter. We are prepared to play our chips and ask India to do the same by agreeing to the plebiscite as promised by Nehru and then whatever the Kashmiri people decide, its their choice. Whether they opt for independence, union with India or union with Pakistan, both sides should accept it as the legitimate will of the people.
Thanks for the good laugh.

Nah, we prefer to keep Kashmir safe from "legal" status like those inferred on Goa and Hyderabad.Not at all. Just last week, the Indian home minister said the same. I also believe given the legal status both P0K and GB should be with India.
Plebiscite is a non starter.
China is now the 3rd party . There are other reasons too.

UN resolutions on Kashmir are non binding on India, hence India didn't violated anything as claimed by Pakistan.
I think that is best left to the UN to decide, Pakistan and India can play their part by showing that they are serious and pulling back troops in favour of UN or putting their troops in the region under UN command. UN can conduct a feasibility study and then let us know if plebiscite is possible or not.
If it is not possible, then the moral obligation will have been shed and under a UN mandated agreement, LOC might be made and IB with special status allowing Kashmiris with local domicile and legal documentation to be able to cross the border without a visa.
This is what I can come up with at the drop of a hat, if will exists, we can work to resolve this issue for good.
They are non-binding but Nehru agreed to set up a plebiscite commission back in the 50s. His word is still unfulfilled.

Way too much water has flown down the Indus .
Involving the UN would amount to insertion of a 3rd Party - something India & Pak have agreed not to do in Simla..
Once the LC is made an IB whats the need for anyone to have a special status to cross at will. PUnjab & Bengal did not have this. If these 2 states can be divided so can J&K.
