Well well how becoming of Her Excellency Veena Sikri to sport a delightful 'Made-In-Bangladesh' Zaamdani Saree

Jokes aside - she's right about the need and much more strident moves for strengthening democratic institutions.

And the fact that people of all classes are just plum sick of politics and want economic development and 'progress' above all else.

But the experts here would be (ahem) way off and would have wholly misread the situation on the ground if they didact:

1. That Bangladesh will become a Awami League family monarchy in the future
2. And that Bangladeshis will cowtow to Indian Govt. influence in their daily lives.
3. And how moderate Islamic-minded Bangladeshis view the Awami League and its militaristic one-sided action.

However - at the end-of-the-day, this is just a view from Indian Govt. side. Nothing more and nothing less.
