So a guy who 'birthed' the party that became MQM. The guy who ran the party like it was his private property. The guy whose phone speeaches had half of Karachi in thrall. All of a sudden for convenient reasons he has become obsolete and been divorced.

I don't buy in that rubbish. That is like TTP getting rid of their present leader for another one. Same wine in new bottle comes to mind.

BT can the govt withstand the pressure after carrying out the assassination, do we have the balls ? Like does civil govt does? No he is not. He is the leader of a party that won 24 seats in the assembly and it runs Karachi. It recieved 7% of the votes in the last election. That means Altaf has lot of support amongst people in Karachi and other areas of Sindh. That can't be just scoffed at.
