Big difference between allowing Al-Qaida passage trough Iranian territory (between Afghanistan and Iraq) and out right basing Al-Qaida inside Iran Its self. I don't expect a hasbara troll like you to acknowledge that, It dose not fit your agenda!!!

Why would we want to waste the life of our soldiers just to keep Jihadis from getting at U.S occupation troops? Lets not forget that the last territory that ISIS officially occupied in Syria was right on the Border with Israel while never being harassed by the "most Moral army in the world". Not to mention all the medical aid Israel provided Injured Isis fighters.
